"Aristokraft Kitchen Cabinets"
Love my cabinets! I've had my Aristokraft Oak Kitchen Cabinets 23 years. They still look the same as the day I installed them. Perfect! Would buy again. Never had to have any repairs.

"Do not buy the white cabinets"
I had these cabinets installed in 2012 and at first was very happy with them. Then after a few years I noticed the white finish coming loose on a few of the edges. It was loosening as a sheet so I glued it back down and thought things were good. I recently noticed that on one of my doors finish the whole door is loose. It reminds me of wallpaper coming loose. Aristokraft won't do anything because it's been over 5 years I have since talked to a builder found out that this has been a problem for years. He knew exactly what I was talking about! So this has been going on for years and all Aristokraft will do is offer to sell me new doors.

"Shelves collapse"
I purchased Aristokraft cabinets thru Pulte homes in NC (Pulte at Jordan Manors). This was a new construction. The house is less than 2 years old and two shelves in the corner cabinet collapsed and destroyed 8 crystal glasses. The shelves were not overloaded. This cabinet is not functional if the shelves collapse. It’s either bad design, poor quality or workmanship issue by the installer. The house is over the 1 year warranty period but I should not be having this issue and I sure as heck would expect the Mfg to stand by the product. I am extremely unhappy and I would not recommend this product.

"Beautiful and Durable"
We have had our Aristokraft cabinets for 10 years. With minimal maintenance and care, they are as beautiful as the day we got them and have been durable as well.

"Worst cabinets and company I've dealt with"
New cabinets for a new home I was looking forward to my kitchen, but these cabinets are terrible! I have two main colors of stain (half are Cafe and half are Java) then there are many shades in between. The soft close doesn't work, and basically they look terrible. Finally, I get someone from this so called company to come and look at my cabinets. I receive confirmation that "somehow two different colors of cabinets were installed." Finally, I think something will get fixed. No, 4 long months later they sent a company of their choice to come to my home and attempt to fix the stain so the cabinets match. The company came and attempted twice to find a way to fix the problems without replacing all of the cabinets. Didn't work! So, they recommended all of my cabinets be replaced, as according to them and an independent cabinet company I hired each and every cabinet has something wrong, and all of the issues could not ever be fixed. Now another month has gone by and nothing from the company. I did receive something from the company the cabinets were purchased from telling me I needed to once again open up my home to people and she needed to take pictures. This has gone on since February of 2018! Then topping things off the so called company itself will not even bother themselves with actually talking to customers! They are to good to have a customer service number, maybe if they had a better product and stood up and made things right when they make glaring mistakes they wouldn't have so many upset people and could actually have a customer service number! Never deal with this company!

"Glacier Grey"
I expected the cabinets to be wood not cheap laminate for what I paid the builder. Obviously we were taken advantage of. The scratch and chip easily and the repair kit that you are given is for wood not laminate. Buyer be ware. Builder is cutting quality to make money. Very cheap

"Ridiculous"
After 3 years in our home, I noticed some wear and tear. Year 10 my cabinets are embarrassing! Customer service told me my cabinets were discontinued and there was nothing they could do. I begged a rep to come out and look at them. Still I was told no one would come. My kitchen alone has 16 upper cabinets. This was not a small kitchen job. Very unhappy with the quality!

"36" Pantry is horrible"
I don't even know what to put for a rating. We just had our kitchen done so it's early to tell for the cabinets. We did opt for the higher end all wood cabinets with paint. We'll see how it goes. I'm satisfied with those for now. The reason for this review is for the 36" Super Pantry. The drawers keep falling down off the tracks. We've tried to make adjustments to prevent it but they still keep falling. I'm getting so frustrated. A kitchen remodel is not cheap. This is not the contractors' fault, they did everything properly. What do they expect people to be able to put in these pull-out shelves? Please do not buy this pantry you will be extremely disappointed. I have been trying to look online about others' experiences with this pantry to see if there is something we can do, but no luck.

"Coming off the wall"
We built a new home in late 2008, included in the purchase were Aristokraft Cabinets. We have 2 separate oven cabinets, both of which are literally coming off the wall and coming apart at the top. One cabinet is has pulled an inch off the wall! I'm worried they're going to come completely off the wall and seriously injure, maybe even kill someone by the crushing weight of the wall ovens. Has anyone gotten any satisfaction writing to the company itself? Does the company even care? I reached out to our builder a year ago and he has been trying to get a representative from Aristokraft to come to my home and see, but no such luck.

I don’t understand why these cabinets have such poor ratings. My Oakland wheat cabinets are beautiful and strong. I’m actually shopping around online right now to add more to my kitchen remodel.

"10 years old and still great"
We installed a new vanity and matching 3 mirror medicine cabinet above for our master bathroom update. We did the upgraded construction. The cabinet continues to work perfectly with smoothly operating drawers and doors. The only thing is that some edges on the drawers aren't perfectly smooth, like they missed being sanded before a final finish coat, but otherwise it was a great investment - very nice appearance and function at a reasonable price. This is our second experience with Aristokraft after doing a kitchen renovation at a prior home. That time, we didn't know to ask for upgraded construction and I admit we were disappointed by the particle board back and sides, but we enjoyed those cabinets and they worked well for several years - still looking beautiful when we moved several years later.

"Junk! Melting & peeling thermo foil"
I built a new home using the Aristokraft thermo foil Augusta series cabinets and right from the start I noticed melting to the thermo foil on the cabinets close to the stove, above the coffee maker & toaster oven. After the initial notice of what was going on we tried to be careful of the cabinets, but we still have to live in our house. Seven years later they are really starting to look like crap, we can't hide it anymore. Any other cabinet you don't have to worry about such nonsense like you do with this thermo foil garbage. What makes it worse is that Aristokraft will not stand behind their product and replace it. I wouldn't buy anything from Aristokraft, unless you like throwing money down the toilet!

Review:
"Terrible company - stay away from them!"
We ordered a whole kitchen cabinetry from this company. Three of the cabinets did not arrive with shipment and they kept us waiting three weeks until missing items arrived. This created a whole domino effect with the subcontractors, since we couldn't install granite or tile or appliances until cabinets were completely in place. On top of that, two wine racks arrived completely dismantled and could not be used. They had to be re-ordered. I will never buy this brand again and advise other consumers to stay away from them. Quality is not even what we expected for the amount of money we invested. Let's just hope the cabinets will hold in place in the future ...

"Terrible- Don't get Thermofoil!!"
Beware, don't get the white cabinets with 'thermofoil'. My contractor recommended them- big mistake! Very early on, the thermofoil began peeling from the corners of many cabinets. And it can't be glued down- whatever the material is, when you try to glue it, the material reacts poorly to the glue- it shrivels. I contacted the manufacturer, hoping they could recommend a glue that would work- they just stated there is no way to fix the peeling veneer. I've had to replace several doors and drawer fronts. All in all, a big disappointment.

"Great Cabinets for the Price"
My Aristokraft cabinets have done a great job for me! I have had them for about 15 years and they are still going strong. I did make sure to purchase the upgraded under mount glides and dovetail wood drawers at the time. It sounds like some reviewers don't realize there are different levels of construction depending on whether it is a spec home or a remodel like mine. I would advise doing the research to actually look at the cabinets and compare the price. I knew what level of quality I was paying for and am happy with the results. I often recommend Aristokraft to my friends as an economical line of cabinetry made here in the USA!

"CalAtlantic home"
I purchased a CalAtlantic Twinhome in August of this year. Supposedly I received a level 3 upgrade. I would hate see what the level 1 looks like. The underside of the upper kitchen cabinets are different colors and the edges are chipped. Several of the drawers wobble. Plastic clips hold the shelves- heaven forbid if the dishes come crashing down. Three months later and I have yet to have this issue resolved. I have complained to CalAtlantic and they tell me this the industry standard.

"Loose hinges"
We have a 2 yr old "designer kitchen." From day one the hinges have been loose and have to be tightened. If we don't tighten them the cabinets hang unevenly. They also make a creaking noise when opening and closing because they are not in line. I am afraid that the screw holes will eventually wear from the constant adjustment. Reps have been to our home twice and only gave advise of using a screw driver to tighten. Very dissatisfied with the product We lived in our previous home for 26 years and never once had to tighten a hinge on our cabinets.

"A Contractor/Designer's Cabinet Review"
Upon reading some of these reviews, I have to say the designer/contractor did not give the customer much information on the cabinets. I wonder if anyone got the white Thermofoil? These are sensitive to heat and the foil can lift off as the adhesive is melted by heat of stove and microwave. As a designer, I tell people that Aristokraft has 3 different construction options, the first is the most economical and has medium density fiberboard sides with the 'paper' sides inside and out. The best is the All plywood construction. The doors themselves can be solid wood or veneered or thermofoil. Find out before you buy! As far as the doors having the small holes for finishing that get covered with the bumpers, most companies do this. Some then use bumpers that recess into those holes, others do not. Consumers need to do their home work before making cabinet purchases, such as you would do for buying a car.

"Coming apart"
I had my cabinets replaced three years ago. The two cabinets above the range are coming apart. The vinyl covering is separating from the doors. The hinges are warrantied for life. The only problem is the doors don't last.
