"Don't ever order line glaze design!"
When you order line glaze in expect to get a straight line! Not even close! The factory rep informed us that they are hand done and by the end of the day "the hand gets heavy"! Thus not straight lines on your cabinets! Replaced doors twice still no straight lines! Sad but true that there is no pride, quality or customer satisfaction in anything you purchase these days.

"Bath Vanity"
So, this is the second time I'm writing this review so I hope that it will be added to the others this time as it is too important to ignore. I purchased a simple vanity from a local establishment and had nothing but problems since its delivery. Had no idea I was getting Designers Choice until it was delivered since I thought I was getting one that was displayed in the showroom. Designers Choice was more like a Designers Nightmare. First all drawer fronts and doors had to be replaced as the painting was thin and uneven - second was not perfect but will live with that. All doors and drawers are misaligned and still are after adjustments. All drawers don't close all the way and feel wobbly and flimsy. One glider was already replaced. I am at this point reluctant to use the drawers so will use them only to store items that I will seldom need. This was, in my opinion, a simple overpriced vanity which Designers Choice did not deliver as they do not pay attention to details and just don't care that they are giving the customer a cheap inferior product. This company has no business being in business so consumer beware and stay away from Designers Choice as you will be better off dealing with Lowes or Home Depot.

"Right & left 1 door/2drawers cabinets - 1 15" open shelves cabinet shaker style"
I purchased 2 standard 30" cabinets and a one drawer open shelves 15" cabinet off white shaker style bath cabinet from a local cabinet shop, and have had problem after problem with what should have been a very simple project. Designers Choice failed to pay attention to detail on what I consider to be a very pricey cabinet. The paint was thin and sloppy, the drawers were misaligned, the soft close mechanism is cheap causing the drawers not to close properly. All in all the cabinet seems flimsy and cheap but looks good from a distance. One glider was replaced and it seems that others will have to be replaced as well after only one week's use. The sellers have been as accommodating as they can under these circumstances but they can't fix a bad product. This is more like Designers nightmare and this company has no business being in business. I have no choice but to limit my use of the drawers making them somewhat useless. Consumer beware and stay away from Designers Choice!

"You cannot find a worse cabinet"
In building a new home, the kitchen design firm recommended Designers Choice cabinets. The cabinets were a nightmare. The first set had doors that were streaked and inconsistently stained. The company replaced the doors after it was discovered ours were made when they were having problems at the factory. The second set of doors and drawer fronts were only slightly better. This was just the tip of the iceberg, however. The second set of doors and the cabinets as a whole, are nicked, chipped, and warped. The drawer closers do not function properly. Further, the drawers wobble. It also appears the cabinets bow under normal weight of pots or dishes. Whatever you are thinking when doing your kitchen, do not think of Designers Choice cabinets.

"Just wow"
These are the worst cabinets I have ever seen. I work for a cabinet company and I try to get people away from Designer's Choice. The doors are not square, sometimes the boxes are not square and the customer service department is just plain miserable...

"Worse than Chinese"
To whom it may concern, I am a GC working on remodels in Baltimore, Maryland. My cabinet salesperson told me she had a new line of cabinets that are very budget friendly, but that their service department was the worst. I assumed I was good enough to get through any hassles related to cheap cabinets. Turns out your cabinets are nothing short of a nightmare. Doors are not square. Hinges are the worst! I had to replace all the hinges on the doors because your hinges either make the door slab rub the cabinet frame, or with any adjustment, the door will not sit tight on the frame, leaving between .5-1” gap between door and frame when closed. Your cabinet rep visited my site as I had too many serious problems. He blamed all problems on the cabinet boxes being 100% level and true. I now realize this is a blanket excuse. I had cabinets show up damaged, missing parts, some had raw edges where a finished stile should be, I have doors that are curved (pantry doors I have an issue that the upper and lower doors rub because the door has a belly under it, which catches the bottom door), I had a situation where the stiles of 2 cabinets when butter to one another, left an ¼” moon between them, I was missing shelves, shelf pins, and only a few shelf brackets. I have been fighting with the homeowner as well as spending numerous hours adjusting these cabinets. I feel that I got burned purchasing these cabinets. I honestly feel like I was robbed. I would have been better off buying Home Depot. I feel that there is no way I should have been charged full price for these cabinets. I definitely should not have had to pay for new hinges to replace your Chinese hinges.

"Good from far - far from good"
We remodeled our entire kitchen and used Designer Choice Cabinets. I was so disappointed, warped doors, warped pot drawer face plates, the dove tail on quite a few drawers did not fit snug, glazing on cabinets is sloppy, the shelves are not deep and are kept in by the cheapest plastic clips, inside panel within frame work fell out on a side panel. The doors feel light and hollow - very cheap feel to them when you open. We got white doors with a gray glaze along the edges. The contractor that installed them is great and is fixing every thing, but that is not the way it should be. - Never Again Very Poor Quality Product

I had the Savannah style in Cherry wood with the Sundance finish installed for my entire home baths and kitchen in 2007. I have been very pleased. The finish has held up great.

"High Quality Kitchen Cabinets"
We purchased a home approximately two years ago. As part of the pre sale renovations the kitchen was extensively remodeled. A new set of Designers Choice cabinets was installed as part of the renovation. The cabinets are the Newcastle style in a medium maple finish. The color of the cabinets coordinates well with the granite counter top and stainless steel appliances. The cabinets are well made and have a quality feel when opening and closing the doors and drawers. The finish has held up very well over two years despite cleaning and normal use. The fit of the cabinets is excellent with no gaps or crooked seams. The operation of the cabinets has been excellent with no failures or repairs. I would highly recommend Designers Choice cabinets for anyone looking for a quality product at a competitive price. We also have Designers Choice cabinets in one of the bathrooms and have had the same good experience.
