"Customer service and warranty worthless"
We purchased a home with new Kraft Maid cabinets. Because we did not buy cabinets we have no warrantee coverage. But surely they would fix the problems with pain missing on multiple design surfaces. (Edges of cabinets that are raised) wish I could add pictures

"Horrible... don’t recommend these for anyone!"
The cabinets are garbage. They came in with zero packaging protection in the boxes. The sides are dinged, warped fronts and sides, the backs have massive gaps, one lower front board wasn’t even attached to the cabinet. The corners are supported by four small triangle supports and massive amounts of over glue. There is a broken drawer glide. I called Kraftmaid, they don’t reply. I went to Lowes and our salesperson is out until Friday. The waiting game begins. After note, our son bought the Lowes Diamond and they arrived, in well protected boxes. We have found zero damage, no warping, and lo and behold, they have zero excess glue, and also have full support boards that run the entire length of the cabinet sides. Let the buyer beware.

"Kitchen cabinets"
Purchased kraftmade cabinets for our kitchen. Front door panels misaligned. Joints improperly aligned. One cabinet the finish in areas was not painted. The best was the lazy Susan rollers for revolving trays were put in upside down from the factory.

"Worst customer service, in the world."
We ordered our kitchen through Home Depot in October and received our cabinets in November. They were missing two huge cabinets that we needs to start the kitchen. I had to call the warehouse three times for them to look or tell me what to do they were unapologetic and I ended up having to reorder the cabinets through customer service. It’s January 10th and we only received one of the missing cabinets! The next one is not coming until January 29th. I have a home daycare and have had to put my business on hold because we have an incomplete kitchen. I’m also pregnant with two toddlers, and have had to live with cabinet boxes taking up our house for months. I would never recommend kraftmaid to anyone nor will I ever use them again. Plus my husband is a carpenter so they just lost a lot of recommendations.

"Full kitchen remodel has been a disaster"
My wife and I are very very disappointed with the way Kraftmaid products came delivered damaged, discolored, and few doors not drilled correctly for door hinges. We ordered them in early May and till this date we are still waiting for replacement utility doors and door trim that have been reordered 3 times because of defects. This has caused delays on other kitchen projects like new countertop install, new kitchen floor install and back splash. I would truly stay away buying Kraftmaid cabinets

"Cabinets poorly made and falling apart"
Our Christmas was spent rebuilding our cabinet that was falling apart on the wall. There was no glue in any of the dovetail joints and a total of 5 staples held the cabinet together. In-spite of the fact that we had to deal with this on Christmas the company offered NO support or reimbursement because we did not take photos like that was supposed to be the first thing on my mind. Then the customer service rep stated the cabinet should have been sandwiched between cabinets or two walls and going to their own website the cabinet is featured several times as a stand alone cabinet on the wall. Then speaking with the customer service rep about their claim she hung up on me! Do not but from this company. You will regret it! "Horrible craftsmanship"
I went through lowes to order cabinets made my Kraftmaid and my cabinets came in and were poorly put together, uneven sides, glue everywhere, measurements for the corner sink cabinets didn’t fit with the base cabinets. Sent them back and came back in worse condition than before. Had to have my contractor fill in gaps where the base cabinets weren’t lining up still bc how badly made they were. Would never recommend Kraftmaid to anyone or even lowes for that matter bc they support such a poor bad craftsmanship knowing how bad the products are. They didn’t make my cabinets to fit or align each other at all whatsoever. The time to have them made and shipped was 4 weeks just for 2 cabinets. Horrible purchase.

"Kraftmaid One Not worth the money"
I purchased the less expensive line of Kraftmaid. Kraftmaid One. Biggest mistake I made in my kitchen remodel. Cabinets arrived with problems with the paint finish Knot holes painted over, wood tone bleeding thru, warped doors and drawers fronts. Paid the upgrade for a Tuscan glaze, What a joke looked like children did the work, very sloppy.Rep came out he told me he didn't see any problems. Definitely would not recommend this product to anyone.

"There has to be better"
The first unit shipped to us through Lowes was seriously damaged and unusable. We had to wait 4 weeks to get a replacement. When we finally got it, there were no interior shelves for the tall bath cabinet. This wasn't the only thing missing, there was supposed to be a piece between the cabinet and granite counter top from Kraftmaid, fillers were missing requiring the installer to make one. For the trim at the top of the cabinet, the installer had to add a 1 inch piece of wood just to install the trim. There are better choices. We are finishing our kitchen and this companies products will not find their way into my home again. Recommend they develop a quality control program to avoid these issues. But like many companies, they won't listen to their customers. This company cost Lowes our business for out kitchen remodel. They are unreliable and slow.

2 months of getting cabinets that are not discolored or easily damaged, I would have gone with a different cabinet company had I know it takes 4 weeks per cabinet to get replaced if its damaged.

"Love the product"
Home Depot and Lowe's have very poor handling of cabinets. If you buy from them and have damage it was done by big box employees. Kraftmaid does an excellent job manufacturing and delivering cabinets, it's what happens after that's the problem. I sold kraftmaid for 11 years and had nothing but a great experience, there beautiful. Sales people will always blame the manufacturer for their poor handling and storage problems.

"Stay away"
What a horrible experience. Home Depot recommended Kraftmaid Evercore as “better than wood”. Not only is it poor quality fiber board, it chipped immediately and that was after initially receiving damaged and mismeasured (by Home Depot) items. My contractors no longer recommend Kraftmaid or Home Depot. I had to beg for all replacements, took weeks, several were missing, and upon installation, they have begun chipping again. I begged Kraftmaid to pay for the door reinstallation, which after weeks, I was told they would pay a small amount that did not cover the reinstallation cost. I was asked to sign a release after I did what’s Kraftmaid asked me to do (just inspect and install) and after dealing with a nasty manager who promised additional contacts to help resolve my issues, none were sent, lie after lie, and here I am, weeks later, with no reimbursement (even after I signed the release). I never so much as received an apology and Kraftmaid blamed the poor quality on its supplier. And advised that they don’t use the supplier anymore. Stay far far away from Kraftmaid - it’s poorly finished cardboard hardly worth the money, aggravation or lack of service and lack of support. These employees do not care about reputation. They sell on volume and hope you’ll just give up. Awful product and awful people. There’s a reason why happy customers buy from small, local cabinet sales who actually stand behind their products and don’t lie. Horrible horrible experience.

"Kraftmaid Cabinets"
Absolutely the worst cabinets. Boxes solid maple. A cream wash finish. Started chipping within weeks. Lowe's (never again!) Sent us almost all replacement doors after many months of waiting. Put several doors on, they chipped, also. While in the boxes, the cabinet finish chipped off. Getting ready to have them painted, of course at our expense. Do not buy Kraftmaid! Never buy from Lowe's for cabinets or have their installer come into your house. The kitchen designer was fired after he designed our kitchen because the cabinets did not fit into the space. The installers cut and dismantled them to fit. They are not plumb. A total disaster.

"Cabinets for a Woodworker"
After twenty five years in the same house I decided to get new cabinets (and also new floors). I am a woodworker, and I appreciate the appearance of good wood. I also am familiar with woodworking techniques and finishes. I especially wanted the color and appearance of natural cherry, that is, cherry with no stain, just the natural color of the wood as it appears with a clear satiny finish on it. In the case of cherry, that color deepens and darkens with age to a pleasing reddish tan color. I talked at length with the cabinet agent at Lowe's, and I decided to buy what she called the premium brand, Kraftmaid. After she explained the details of how the cabinets were made, I decided to pay extra for all-plywood construction, which avoids the use of MDF (medium density fiberboard). MDF is the most common point of failure for cabinets as they age because of its lack of strength and inability to resist high moisture situations. My cabinets were installed four years ago. There were no issues with flaws or defects in the workmanship, and like any kitchen and bathroom cabinets, they have had continual and heavy use since then, but no abuse. Mine have stood up beautifully, and they continue to look great. I get compliments on them when people come into my house. The thick finish on the wood allows them to be cleaned easily. The premium drawer glides and door hinges continue to work smoothly and close softly and quietly. Unless you want to hire a custom cabinet maker to do things exactly as you want, I don't think you can find a better manufactured cabinet than those made by Kraftmaid. I would recommend them to anyone.

"Review"
My experience with KraftMaid was an excellent one. During the time of my kitchen remodeling, KraftMaid provided me with beautiful and elegant cherry cabinets, all thanks to the employee Carolyn Hart. Carolyn was constantly extremely helpful throughout my entire process of re-doing my kitchen. She came up with a beautiful design, and constantly kept me up to date on the status of my cabinets. Regardless of the amount of times that I would come in even to just ask a question, Carolyn was always there and always ready and helpful. A great employee like this should really be recognized for their hard work and dedication, so this review goes mainly out to Carolyn. The cabinets were in great condition when they arrived to my house, and although we asked for two cabinet doors to be replaced, the replacement was very easy and free. I would recommend KraftMaid to anyone who is remodeling their kitchen, and would especially recommend that they try to do it through Carolyn Hart if they are in the area. 10/10 would recommend!

"Full Kitchen and 4 Bathroom Install: All Spoiled Within Warranty, No Satisfaction"
New construction, new home. Ordered 4 wetbar/kitchenette /bathroom cabinet bases as well as full kitchen cabinets. The door began taking on a strange streaked appearance at 6-7 years into use. It took me until year 8 to contact them with photos and description. It took them 4 months to send a rep out to inspect them. We were told this streaking was natural and was caused by exposure to the sun. The bathrooms have no exposure to the sun and they are streaked as well. What good is a 10-year warranty if they don't stand behind their products. I would never buy their products again nor would I recommend them to anyone else. Shame on Kitchenmaid.

"Subpar construction"
Custom ordered the vanity from Lowes, took 3 weeks to receive. Opened the carton and found top rail, corner brace and side plate were loose. The parts had been glued but not in contact with each other. I ordered an end panel, it cane separately not installed and no screws or instructions. The touch up kit was $46 and was literally a crayon and a market. I called and asked the support center what to do about the loose top rail and brace and they stated you could send the cabinet back and they will ship a new one in 10 days. The support person was no help at all. I will never buy a Kraftmaid cabinet again, I just hope the cabinet will support the heavy Kraftmaid Quartz top.

"Sub par craftsmanship"
We purchased through Lowes'. The off-white "maple" painted cabinets were not ordered correctly by the designer, so many were the wrong size or had a wrong interior. Many of these painted cabinets had major flaws including dings, scrapes, paint chips, bubbles and raw material like sawdust spray painted into the finish. The mitered corners began separating after the doors were hung, causing more chipping, and the cabinets were not hung level, so many did not close properly. I am still fighting with the manufacturer, having gotten several replacements, which also are poorly constructed and finished. At this point, I am going to have to change the door to a non-mitered door or have them torn out and totally replaced. I would never recommend this company. They are resting on their namesake of 20 years ago, when they actually made a quality product.
