"More excuses!"
Called Thomasville over the problem cabinets. They said they don't make the cabinets, claiming they have a license agreement for their name. The vendor who made the cabinets in Jasper Industries. Jasper goes by the Masterbrand name. Their territory rep appeared to inspect the cabinets claiming the poorly mitered joints and pimples in the paint are common. He went on to say under other lighting, no one would notice these flaws! One joint was so bad...a business card could be placed in the open joint. He blamed the packaging material for damaging the paint. He claimed not to be able to see black specs in the paint, when offered my glasses, he said he could see the black marks, how unprofessional. Opposed to accepting fault...he extended an insult by standing "the white cabinets are not best suited for you"...my kitchen designer strongly disagreed!

"Don't Walk/Run away from Thomasville Cabinets and Home Depot!"
Buying thomasville cabinets from home depot has been a nightmare! Never have I been so disappointed in a product, manufacture rep and the medic sent out by masterbrand's. I thought I was buying one of the best cabinets on the market for the money, boy was I wrong! The finish is thin and blotchy and there are even parts of raw wood exposed. After sending numerous replacements doors and the medic coming out 3 times, he put the 1st set of doors back on and said that the best he can do. They can not provide the finish as ordered. Interesting note: Home depot and thomasville are saying I ordered this finish and I should be happy with it. The interesting part, the medic and I have checked multiple stores and it looks like the graphite samples on maple have been taken off the racks. Now, home depot and thomasville are offering an insulting settlement plus stain just so I will go away. There position is I can hire a refinisher to sand the doors down and restain them. This is totally unacceptable! I just want what I purchased based on the store sample we saw at the time of ordering!

"Dissatisfied to say the least"
Spent thousands of dollars on a new kitchen. We bought Thomasville because the Home Depot rep said they we the best quality. Our cabinet doors were loose and two of them failed (fell apart). We had the Thomasville rep out to our home with the Home Depot rep. It was clear the doors were not glued when manufactured. The rep arrangee for 15 cabinet doors to be replaced at their cost. Upon arrival the installer from Home Depot found the cabinet door panels were loose just like the last ones. Home depot offered a $250 credit which I did accept before the doors were replaced. Now I hear nothing back from either Home Depot or Thomasville. Do not buy Thomasville!

"Great loss"
I am so happy to read the reviews. My small $800 custom made cabinets came, 6 weeks later. Uneven, felt mark on them. I have fought with Home Depot for 2 weeks, I m in tears. It is so poorly made, they designed it wrong. Home Depot has been deferring these problems for 2 weeks. Now it's 2 months, with a cabinet in the living room. Their designer, went as far as, to call a contractor, I fired 2 months ago for robbing me. Which they knew. To confirm his thoughts. I told them many times, I designed, payed for it, not him. I thought I was going crazy. Yesterday, Thomsville rep came, to "adjust", the uneven drawers. My neighbour and I told him, they were still uneven. He stated he would let Home Depot know they were fine? As customer who payed to have these done, I have no say? I saved every penny for this. I have been treated so poorly by Home Depot and Thomsville rep. I can see, I m not the only one. I just need a solution. Any tips.? I know, as one staff told me, when I asked her to get a hold of Thomasville. She would not. Since, $800.00 is nothing? According to Home Depot manager, I misunderstood? I've been in Home Depot for 2 weeks, after, graveyards and chemo. To be told this, is not only disrespectful but infuriating. The design manager went as far, as to not let me see the original design. My pipes go into one of the drawers. I have common sense to not have design it this way,. When I asked if he would design a drawer where the pipes are, he said he might. Very condescending. I am stunned. I will take them to court for calling a contractor who, robbed me, has a restraining order and never once did the design. That was the ultimate low. Home depot knowing , I fired him after the first day.

"The saga began in 2011"
The gutting of our kitchen the end of 2011 never ended. Thomasville cabinet finish still to this day is terrible. We have re-finished plenty of wood in our years walking this earth. Maple is difficult to stain. Our $13k + of cabinetry through Home Depot still is an eyesore. Countless replacement panels/doors to attempt to get a consistent finish proved impossible. The kicker was the reply we obtained from Thomasville themselves. It was determined that finish damage was a result of water contact and normal wear and tear. Really? These are in a kitchen. The finish peeled off like a bad paint job. The stain kit supplied won't adhere to the wood. Fast forward to today (2018). The doors we replaced twice under the kitchen sink have still maintained their finish. It's a good thing we never use those cabinets and don't use water in the sink above! In closing, we now show all who stop in the 'expert craftsmanship' of our beautiful kitchen upgrade. We would not wish this quality on our worst enemy.

"Terrible quality"
I have the same issue that many previous reviewers had. Several of the door just fell apart into pieces because they was no glue whatsoever. Also stain is very uneven and missing in some corners. Several cracks in the corners, and routing job is bad on many doors. We paid over 14K on these cabinets and I feel like they are the quality of cheap cabinets instead of high quality we were promised. Home Depot is doing that right thing (as far as I can tell) by replacing all the bad parts, but I have concerns about other doors falling apart over time. But based on the reviews I am seeing, they should probably switch to a better cabinet company.

"Deep Regrets"
The designer at home Depot gave us a big oversell job about how wonderful these cabinets are. What a joke! Our kitchen has about 30 cabinets and many of them were half falling apart right out of the box because they weren't even glued as far as our installer could tell. Some of the rest had glue splattered all over. Others were kindling in a box. Two of the cabinets didn't even match the others and were obviously meant for somebody else's kitchen even though our name was on the box. When we called the store to complain we got a runaround and six months later we are still stuck with this junk and are living without a kitchen. Word of warning: Stay away!

"Ours are very nice"
We had our Thomasville kitchen cabinets for almost two years. we love them. they are beautiful, have cool add on features. They are holding up just fine, as I would expect cabinets to hold up. We do have room to add another cabinet. I went online to research a tall pantry cabinet and I saw these reviews. The bad ones were surprising to me. I always thought of the name Thomasville as being nicer stuff.

"Better than the builder grade Aristocraft"
We installed our Thomasville kitchen cabinets about 10 years ago and they've held up well. One door cracked after a few years and the roll up mechanism on the garage cabinet needed to be replaced. Both issues were resolved satisfactorily with Thomasville. Need to replace cabinet above fridge due to the larger sizes being made nowadays and Home Depot still had style available.

"Garbage"
Purchased cabinets from Home Depot. When they offer a free cabinet there might be a reason why. Less than a year 2 doors have fallen off, 9 fronts had to be replaced from tacky stain, 1 door replaced for low grade wood. Junk don't buy it!

"Doors falling off after 2 weeks of installation."
We paid over 20,000.00 for new cabinets. While they are beautiful. One by one the cabinet door have become loose and close to falling off. home depot and installers claim it is not due to their planning but to Thomasville using wrong hardware. Unacceptable... the installer is unhappy with our complaints but honestly after all money spent I want my kitchen right. do not like opening cabinet door only to have it fall off hinges. minor fix... but to get it done...

"Great cabinets"
WTH is up with kitchen cabinet reviews? Well, I'm here to say my Thomasville cabinets are great. They are 5 years old now and have held up beautifully, everyone who comes to the house remarks on how beautiful they are. I have had a few minor problems with the hardware closers etc but Thomasville has always made good on their warranty -- everything fixed within a matter of weeks. Could not be more pleased. Now I'm moving to a new home and my builder does not offer Thomasville so I researching the brands they do offer and every single one of them gets totally slammed at this site.

"The worst product, Do Not Buy Thomasville from Home Depot!"
We ordered the Heather Gray with Cherry wood kitchen cabinets from Home Depot. The finished product is brown, ugly brown., no gray like the lovely sample. The quality of the wood is cheap. There is not one door that doesn't have a flaw of some kind, usually right in the center. One of the tracks arrived broken. We have not opened all the cabinets yet but every cabinet has been a disappointment. I'm hoping we can return them. I will fight tooth and nail because this product is junk.

"Do not buy"
Waited 6 weeks for the cabinets. Installer wouldn't even put them in they were such crap. Had to wait 6 weeks for replacements. Crap again. I have no kitchen because of them. I would never ever recommend them. Buy from somewhere else and don't get the Home Depot as project management. Just terrible.

"We are extremely pleased with our cabinets"
We spent more than $20k on cabinets and another $20k on appliances. The cabinets were Thomasville from Home Depot. We had a couple doors with finish issues that were replaced within two weeks. The cabinets look great and have held up extremely well. Granted they are the higher end Thomasville cabinets with raised panels and mitred corners. I have to give them a 5 star rating.

"Don't live up to what they say!"
Had I read these reviews before we bought, Thomasville Cabinets, I would have never bought them. Delivery was good. The cabinets look good. Install was good. That's about it. Some parts we ordered with the cabinets did not come with the order and we are still waiting 2 months later! We asked for an extra shelf in a corner cabinet. In the cabinet is already 3 adjustable shelves. Thomasville says they don't make extra shelves! We asked for some glass panels in some of the doors. All varying sizes. They told us they did not have the correct size for one cabinet and we would have to get it cut. No problem. We specifically asked for the glass not to be tempered, Thomasville said no problem. Glass arrived and it is tempered. When we asked questions they said to us all their glass comes tempered! Do not buy Thomasville cabinets!

"Don't buy from Home Depot"
I bought Kemper cabinets in my regular house, then bought Thomasville from Home Depot for a second home. I thought they would be comparable (both are made by Master Brands, and Home Depot will tell you they are the same), but Home Depot cuts many corners with the Thomasville Line. The worst is it's hard to figure out what corners they cut until you get them because they don't outline the specs. Construction is not the same, and features, paint, everything is inferior. Where every they can save a buck, they will do it. And it changes over time. I will never buy cabinets at Home Depot again. They are thieves.

"Kitchen Island"
The sink base is missing the 2 pull out drawers that we selected and which appear on their delivery ticket. 2 base cabinets are damaged. The sink base cabinet was upgraded to plywood. The other base cabinets were not upgraded. The veneer on the upgraded vs non upgraded cabinets is visibly different. It appears that the plywood construction has a real wood veneer while the flake board cabinets have plastic/vinyl veneers. The Home Depot salesperson told us specifically that the only difference between the standard cabs and the plywood cabs is the wood. He made no mention of any difference on the outside surfaces. The cabinet doors were not properly installed at the factory, leaving us with misalignments that can't be corrected via hinge adjustments. The 9" pull out drawers are unstable (wobbly) and do not align with the tilt out drawer fronts of the sink base. The Home Depot salesperson didn't sell us what was needed to allow for the proper installation of the baseboard moldings we selected. Home Depot wants to charge us another $90 for the additional parts. We would also have to pay our installer for a 2nd visit to install that which Home Depot neglected to sell to us originally. I'm disgusted with Thomasville and Home Depot to the extent that I am returning their trash. Buyer Beware
