""Low price point"??"
I have seen hundreds of Wellborn kitchens installed. 90% of them have all the same issues as the negative reviews on this site. I'd rather spend more money on a cabinet that will last for 25 years then get a low price point cabinet that will be falling apart at install. It's a good "builder grade" cabinet.

"Worst cabinets ever - stay away"
I bought Dark Cherry cabinets for my kitchen. The fit and finish were somewhat okay, but the pieced together seams ended up where all of them were visible. Seriously??? They couldn't buy a piece of wood that was 24" long so as to remove the seam??? Plus - I ended up with a cracked cabinet face. I've tried and tried to get it replaced, but Wellborn won't talk or work with customers. I will never ever buy any of their products. They stink of low end Contractors. pew!!

"Wellborn Select Series Prairie Door in Glacier White Door"
I ordered white cabinets, and they looked white when they came out of the box, but only after the contractor installed all of them did I see that the insides and undersides were not white, but maple colored. I called the dealer, New Visions, and Wellborn, and I was told by both that it was not a mistake. "That's how they come." The undersides are very visible because I have high ceilings. They suggested I purchase either "skins" or "light rail moldings" to partially solve the problem. This would cost several hundred dollars more that the already overpriced cabinets. The dealer claims to offer a 50% discount. It cost me $4900 for cabinets for a 7'x7' kitchen. Wellborn will not give me the actual list price. Ripoff! I had to pay cash up front and now have no recourse since the contractor has also been paid for the installation. Beware lovely salesladies with phony stories of American made being better. Next time, I'll go to ikea.

"Wellborn makes the worst cabinets"
Big problems with the finish. I installed new cabinets less than a month ago, and the finish started coming off day one. I called my dealer and he ordered replacement. When it came I checked the finish and it had the same problem. Now I'm waiting for them to make new doors and no one is telling me when I can expect to get my kitchen. When I called Wellborn they told me that I'm not their customer and to go back to my dealer. They don't stand by their product and they can not do a proper job. No wonder everything is made in China at least it's cheap. Wellborn makes garbage.

"Wonderful product - Wellborn"
We purchased our Wellborn cabinets in 2006 and were very happy with them. Now, we're thrilled! We were flooded from Hurricane Irene in August 2011. We had about 3 inches of water in our kitchen. The cabinets only sustained a slight discoloration at the very bottom which is barely noticeable. In our back room we also have a wine bar with the very same cabinets. This room is on ground level so the cabinets were in about 27 inches of water. They are still beautiful!!! Thank you Wellborn!

"They look great!"
We have been using our Wellborn kitchen cabinets for just over a year now and they are supper! The specialty cabinets like the lazy susan, the drawer glides and the pop-up mixer stand are all holding up great with lots of use. They look fantastic too.

"Quality & Customer Service Does Not Matter to the Company!!"
Within 6 mo the red glaze on my cabinets began peeling and continues. I am single so my kitchen gets very little use so they certainly cannot say they have been abused!! Dealer I had purchased them from said they no longer carried them because of "all the complaints and poor customer service" and would not assist me. Have been fighting w/them for over a year now!

I have owned Wellborn cabinetry most of my life and couldn't be more pleased! I was disheartened to read unsatisfactory comments on their products. The company makes several grades of cabinetry and it appears the customer was not aware of the level they purchased! I will continue to buy only Wellborn Cabinetry in the future.

"Wellborn cabinetry...solid new relationship"
I've designed and built close to 50 kitchens and updated dozens of bathrooms during my career as a full service Remodeler. A year ago, our firm elected to partner with Wellborn over several other well respected cabinet manufacturers. The reasons we chose Wellborn were as follows: made in the USA, unmatched on-time delivery track record, the shortest lead times in the industry, strong support for it's Dealers and their Customers, diverse cabinet lines (economical to full custom), quality control measures throughout all levels of their operation, and a family owned/family run business taking pride in their quality products while maintaining a passion for what they do. Now a year later, here's what I know from experience: our Clients prefer products made in America, beautifully finished solid wood cabinetry, not one delivery date missed, we've improved service to our Clients with shorter lead times, the few issues to date have been resolved expeditiously and superior support from an Awesome Customer Service team when needed. Wellborn cabinets add value to our business and we feel they are an excellent "bang for your buck". No doubt we made the right choice and have a strong business partner for years to come.

After much discussion and having the pleasure of working with Wellborn's Dealer, Chris Layton of Easternshore Kitchens in Delmar, Delaware. I feel my situation was resolved above & beyond my expectations. Once we met and spoke to Chris we received professional & personal attention. While spending time his beautiful Showroom in Delmar, we had the opportunity to look at the entire line of Wellborn Products. Their other Cabinetry products appeared to be high quality and with the professional & personable help from Chris Layton I am sure you will be satisfied, he clearly is asset to their organization.

"Happy Homeowner"
I've had my new kitchen for almost a year now and I love my Wellborn cabinets! They have the soft close feature on the drawers and they all work very well. Our new house is beautiful, but we get the most compliments on our kitchen. I've had several friends ask about the cabinets and I've been pleased that they've wanted to use them too! I highly recommend!

We love our Wellborn cabinets. My husband and I picked out the Maple wood and the finish is gorgeous. We are absolutely thrilled with the cabinets in our remodeled kitchen. We allowed other prospective customers to come into our home to view our lovely kitchen. People are very surprised to hear that our cabinets are not custom cabinets, they are that beautiful. We would purchase Wellborn and use the same contractor all over again.

"Wellborn... Like No Other"
I have been selling Wellborn cabinetry for many years along with other quality cabinet manufactures. I've toured many cabinet manufacturing plants and meet the many employees who makes these companies what they are today. I truly believe that there is something special about Wellborn that is "like no other". Wellborn being family owned and in business for 50 years should be enough to give any consumer a certain level of comfort. If you could ever get the opportunity to meet the family and staff, they are some of the nicest and most talented people you would ever meet. As far as the quality of the product and customer service, well I wouldn't be selling them if they weren't superior to others. Bottom line... Great Company! Great Service! Great Products! I would recommend Wellborn cabinetry to anyone!

"Long standing relationship"
I have been a Wellborn dealer since 2004, a very satisfied dealer. Having purchased millions of dollars over this period to find their quality as I have expected, and their response to issues up to my expectations as well. Since 2004, Wellborn has been consistent with delivery, only backordering 5 pieces of product during that time. Also, I have found that most issues with any product, if handled properly by the dealer, can be resolved to the homeowner's satisfaction.

As a Custom Cabinet Company we also try to fit every ones needs into our design and process to fit the client with what works for their budget.
