"Total Junk"
Typical junk made by a big company that takes short cuts for a larger profit. Stay away from this company!

"Best Ever"
Our first kitchen needed a makeover which we did in lovely maple Wood Mode cathedral door cabinets. Now, 39 years later, they are still showroom beautiful. In a subsequent kitchen, we tried to stay in-budget by using a national brand from a building material center. They never held a candle to the Wood Mode. This was no way to "save."

"Kept my deposit would not deliver my cabinets"
I signed a contract through Woodcrest in Scottsdale Arizona. My cabinets were approximately $58,000. The sales lady, Karen, said that Woodmode in running a great promotion. I advised her we were not ready yet and hadn't decided which rooms we were definitely going to remodel. We didn't have our architectural plans yet. Karen said she called Woodmode and if we put down $26,410.00 Woodmode would hold the price for us. When I was ready to order Karen informed me that the price had gone up and she could not honor the contract. When I asked for my down payment back they refused. Finally Kevin Mooney, the owner, has refused to give me my money back even though he never ordered the cabinets. I have confirmed with Woodmode that my cabinets were never ordered or put in the system. Be careful about giving Woodcrest any money.

"Poor quality control"
We purchased WoodMode cabinets for a kitchen remodel through a designer. Two sets of cabinet doors and one drawer needed to be replaced because of poor quality control in size of drawer, bubbles in the finish and cabinet sides not being curved like the others. A swing out spice rack had chipped sides and chipped finish. The replacement spice rack was even worse. I now trying to get a third spice rack. On replacement, the doors and drawers were replaced to our satisfaction. Still waiting to get a spice rack that doesn't look chipped. My kitchen designer offered me a metal hanging spice rack from another company instead. I'm now the one dealing with the company- ugh.

"glazed cabinets"
We have Wood-Mode cabinets, hardwood that was factory painted and glazed. My complaint is with the glaze. The cabinets are now 10 years old and the glaze around the pulls has worn away to a great degree. I would definitely not go with a glaze again in a kitchen.

"Love them"
I had Wood Mode cabinets in my house until we had a fire. They were very sturdy, beautiful and after over 20 years still looked like new. I have ordered more of the same to have installed as we rebuild our house. I will let you know how the new ones are.

"Wood-mode"
My 25 year old wood-mode cabinets' excellence is surpassed only by the customer service I received. They matched more cabinets for me perfectly and when I damaged an old glide on the bottom of a drawer, they had it in the mail immediately--no charge.

"Embassy, raised curved panel/cherry"
My Embassy/cherry/raised panel cabinets were installed in my kitchen in 1984 - fantastic. They look almost new after much use, since I run a b & b and do all the cooking in this kitchen. My changes in the next month are to change the handles to update this great cupboards and to install another cupboard in a spot that was not available at the time of the first installation.

"Hinges"
I see someone on here says that the hinges break - from a 1996 job. I am a WoodMode dealer and have been since 1984. Hinges do break from time to time (they have vastly improved them in the last 10 years so this does not seem to be a problem anymore) - but I know for a fact that WoodMode will send you new hinges to replace the broken ones at no charge! So, this person simply needs to contact their dealer, or if they are no longer around, contact WoodMode and they will send them out. No need to bad mouth a great company!
