The four lines are the Designer, Encore, XXL and ADA line. The Designer line allows customers to customize the front panel to match any kitchen. The ADA dishwashers are designed to comply with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) height guidelines, and the Encore and XXL lines are made to accommodate large dishes and a larger quantity of dishes.

Asko Company History

Asko is a Swedish company that has been in the appliance industry for more than 50 years. The first Asko appliance was a washing machine built by Swedish farmer Karl-Erik Andersson for his mother. He built a machine that could heat water and spin. This first machine was constructed primarily of steel, which fostered Asko's dedication to durability. Andersson's washing machine was innovative at the time, and he was asked to share his design with others. From this, the Asko brand was born. Asko now makes washers, dryers and dishwashers.

Special Features Of Asko Dishwashers

Asko is focused on durability. One special feature that sets Asko dishwashers apart from other brands is that stainless steel is used in every aspect where plastic isn't absolutely necessary because Asko believes that stainless steel parts last longer than plastic. The XXL line of dishwashers features a four rack, seven basket configuration that can accommodate 17 place settings. Asko also offers a variety of cleaning and drying systems to more efficiently and accurately adjust controls to fit the current load.

Safety Features Of Asko Dishwashers

All Asko dishwashers come with these safety features: AquaSafe water safety system, AquaDetect Sensor and KidSafe. The KidSafe safety feature includes childlocks that make the dishwasher very difficult to open. These features also include barriers that make it virtually impossible for a child to open or start the machine. The AquaSafe system and AquaDetect Sensor are features designed to detect small leaks and avoid flooding.

Energy Efficiency And Asko Dishwashers

Asko claims to be committed to manufacturing environmentally conscious appliances. The dishwashers, specifically, have very low energy and detergent consumption, and supposedly some of the most water-efficient washers in the world. Asko dishwashers also use a minimum of 194 kilowatts per hour yearly, which is among the lowest of the machines on the market.

Customer Experiences

According to customer reviews sites, customers who were happy with their Asko dishwashers cite quietness and efficiency as pluses for the machines. Customers who were unhappy with their dishwashers say that dishes didn't come out clean and also that after-sales support/service was slow or inadequate.
