"Do Not Buy"
Worst refrigerator I’ve ever purchased. It is 3 years old. The bottom leaks somewhere causing ice to fall on floor when freezer is opened. The top ice maker leaves plastic pieces occasionally in the ice Trey. The ice maker freezes over then defrost causing it to leak on to the floor. Ice maker works when it wants to. I bought a kitchen aide because I always heard they were the best. DO NOT BUY! $2000 wasted in 3 years and Kitchenaide doesn’t care. They will tell you sorry. Worst Product on the market. They should be sued for putting out garbage and badging it as a Kitchenaide. It’s so bad I can even use it in the basement as a storage refrigerator. I will never purchase a kitchen aide product again and I won’t purchase any other products their company makes. I will spread the word everyday day to everyone I see.

"Totally junk"
New French door refrigerator broke down within 3 months and again 3 months later. Now freezer drawer jams with ice and totally destroyed frame integrity. Calling Kitchenaid for help a waste of time. Service calls cost $100 and they tell it will cost several more hundreds to fix it. Should this be the norm with a $3000 appliance. Already lost much food and spent several hundred dollars in repairs. Warranty next to useless.

"Horrible refrigerator, dishonest company"
I purchased this refrigerator in 2018 while rebuilding from hurricane Harvey. It is a double French door with a lower freezer unit. I have had the electronics for the upper unit replaced 3 times, every 6 months like clockwork. The techs told me it is a problem specific to this model, and that it was the only model they made with 2 refrigeration units, one for upper and one for lower. I was forced to buy an extended warranty($500+ for one year) as their techs have advised me that this will not go away. Although Whirlpool sells the extended warranty and owns the warranty company, they claim that they have no responsibility for the unit as it is in the hands of the warranty company. The warranty company claims that they can not consider repairs made by Whirlpool as part of our history, and that unless repairs fail in the first 30 days, this will not be considered a defect. This company is dishonest, unethical, and a filthy place to do business. I purchased the refrigerator from Factory Builders in Houston and have contacted them by email but received no response.

"French door with bottom freezer"
The refrigerator had the space and convenience we were looking for. After the 1st year it occasionally seemed warm at times. At 2 yrs and 9 months the ice melted in the ice dispenser and it lost all cooling. Over the next 6 months service has replaced the compressor, the distribution valve three times, both evaporator coils, all circuit boards, and the freezer air fan. The service personel were very competent but at this point I have a refrigerator compartment that holds a temperature between 37 and 40 degrees, a freezer that hold a temperature between 6 and 10 degrees, and a ice maker that makes a half dozen cubes of ice per day. This is the worst appliance I have every owned. I hope it stays at this marginal degree of service until I can afford to replace it. Whirlpool corporation products will be at the bottom of the list.

"36" CD FD Refrigerator"
I purchased a whole kitchen of Kitchen Aid appliances and did so because was lead to believe they were higher quality appliances. Well one year and 10 months later the ice maker and water dispenser stops working. Told the panel that makes the water dispense was broken and needs to be replaced. Although this is to fix the water dispensing issues their is no guarantee the ice maker will work again. This will cost us $548 dollars for parts and labor. Who would have thought this appliance would stop working so quickly. I will never buy kitchen aid again. If there is another malfunction I will get rid of the appliance and get another brand. Kitchen Aid provided no help. I have had multiple appliances in my lifetime and never purchased the extended warranty because by the time they stop working the appliance was many years old so replacing it was due.

"Panel ready refrit"
We bought this refrigerator because it was the only panel ready one we could find. When it was delivered the two doors did not line up. There was an adjustment that could be made but it required that Whirlpool had to do it. We made an appointment and was told it would cost $179 for the adjustment!! This for a refrigerator we had just purchased for several thousand dollars. The service person showed up and after working on the refrig he could not balance the doors. He blamed it on uneven floor, misaligned cabinets anything he could say to shift the blame from Whirlpool. We called and complained again they sent out another service person. He was just as useless as the first one. Told us to even out the doors we would need to shim the refrigerator which he would not do. Complained to Whirlpool with no results. Finally hired someone not affiliated with Whirlpool who was able to get the doors to be aligned. Never Never buy a Whirlpool/Kitchen Aid Appliance. They do not stand behind their products and do not care about their customers!!

"Problematic Refrigerator"
Do not buy a Kitchenaid refrigerator - Purchased the Refrigerator above for over $2,000.00 in 2013. Purchased a 5 year extended warranty upon purchase. Since the purchase, the ice-maker was replaced six times, the fan replaced two times, the motherboard replaced two times and the water valve replaced one time. Now, only six years later and out of warranty, the refrigerator again needs a new motherboard and fan at a cost that could buy a new refrigerator and therefore, we have trashed this refrigerator and bought another.

"Junk"
We've had nothing but problems with this refrigerator - unfortunately it was part of a matching set. After 4 years and several repairs, the unit is no longer repairable. KitchenAid agreed to replace it with a new model for 1,000 dollars but it doesn't match the existing set. I found a GE model that is a better match for us but they tell me they won't send me a check to help in the matter. Another point; the repairman told me that KitchenAid is now made by Whirlpool and said to stay clear of them. I'm about as unhappy as I could be with KitchenAid and their customer service people. In short; I'd rather pay 3,000.00 for another brand (GE).

"Lots of Problems"
Purchase 2013 I have had 2 new doors replace that contain the electronics, new compressor and they want to fix it again. We have had a total of 7 service calls and took out a KitchenAid 5 year warranty in 8/2013. The recent compressor replacement has not lasted more than 1 week Our Freezer and Refrig temperature are now the same 64 degrees.

"If it works"
I purchased this refrigerator in 2006, it worked well for 1 year and 2 days! Then the Ice maker failed, then the shelves broke. The Ice maker has now been replaced 7 times, the drawers 5 times. Now the Ice maker has failed again. Thank God I took out an extended warranty. I really cannot understand this problem, but other refrigerators have also problems with Ice makers, but not as bad as this. I would not buy this brand again, or any of its siblings. The Ice maker itself looks well made, hence my surprise at the failures.

Think twice before you buy a KitchenAid refrigerator! I bought a KitchenAid refrigerator in March. The ice maker malfunctioned in August, October, and December. While KitchenAid did send out repair (this last time they told me it was scheduled when it wasn't), they showed no interest in ensuring it was a permanent fix and would not consider a replacement. Thank heavens for Lowe's (where I bought it). They reviewed the situation and are replacing it with another brand.

"KitchenAid is Kitchen Kool"
I purchased my KitchenAid refrigerator in 1995 and love it. Mostly based on the reputation of KitchenAid back in the 90's, which was excellent. What I love about it is it's size, 24 cubic feet, it's energy conservation factor and it's longevity. In the ensuing years I have only had a problem with it once which was a simple repair and 16 years later it is still going strong. I bought a side by side thinking that it would be roomier and in reality it.s not, the width of the both the frig and freezer is not what I prefer and was somewhat disappointed in that, I assumed by it's cubic foot size it would be roomier, not so. I don't know if I would by anothe Kitchenaid as there are so many other brands out there nowadays it would depend on the price and reputation.

"My Refrigerator's Attached Freezer, Shelves, and Exterior"
I have owned my refrigerator now for about three years. The first thing I like about it is that it has a freezer that is almost as big as the refrigerator section. Also, I like the fact that the interior of the refrigerator has adjustable shelves. When I buy a larger product, like a turkey, I can move the shelves up and down depending on hos much space I need. In addition, the water and ice dispenser on the refrigerator is very handy since I have a large family. One thing that I don't like about the refrigerator is that the stainless steel very easily gets water marks on it. I have to buy a special cleaning solution just to make sure that it does not look dirty. Overall, though, I am happy with my decision to purchase this refrigerator. It is a good quality appliance, and it has never broken. I would recommend it to all of my friends.

" Kitchen Aid Refrigerator Model KSRL25F"
I have owned my refrigerator for 4 years and overall it has held up pretty well for the value. I bought it on sale for a great price and just could not pass it up. It's a stainless steel double door refrigerator with a water and ice machine attached to the door. I like the variety of temperatures I can choose from; even items on the door stay the same temperature as deep in the back of the refrigerator. Also in the 4 years I had the refrigerator I never had smelled any odors. What I don't like about the refrigerator is the fact that the ice maker has had to be repaired twice. The first time it had to be repaired was 3 years into owning it and the repairman said it was from using the crushed ice, which is one of my favorite features of a double door refrigerator and I should not have any other problems with it. The last time it was repaired was late December 2010 with the same problem and this time I was told just not to use the crushed ice feature. I'm not sure what was replaced or unjammed but it is working fine again. My last complaint would be the stainless steel with kids in the house it constantly needs to be cleaned and I cannot hang any items on the refrigerator because of the stainless steel but that is all cosmetic issues. At this point I am unsure if I will buy anything else from Kitchen Aid, however for my next refrigerator I will be doing research and not just buying based on cost. I would recommend it to a friend but with caution.

"Beautiful reliable efficient Kitchen Aid dishwasher"
Less then a month ago I became a new proud owner of a Kitchen Aid dishwasher. So far I have been very pleased with Its performance, durability and dependability. It's beautifully designed on the outside and inside. It's very spacious inside with plenty of room to organize your plates, glasses and silverware. It does an impeccable job cleaning the dishes leaving them sparkling and clean. It's an energy star so its very environmentally conscious using less energy and resources which is also very important to me. So far I have not had any issues with it and I am confident it will last me a great many years. I would recommend this to a friend because it is easy to operate and it's dependable and of great quality.I would buy this same brand again without hesitation because its a great product. It runs very smooth making very little noise unlike the old dishwashers I have had in the past. It's not to big or small and it fits into my tiny kitchen perfectly. So far this sturdy dependable dishwasher has been perfect.

"Overall Satisfied with our Kitchen Aid Refrigerator"
We have owned our Kitchen Aid refrigerator since 1994 as we bought it when we purchased our new home and it is still working fine though we have had some repairs. The things we like about our Kitchen is the adjustable shelves, sliding racks, plenty of storage space, adjustable storage shelves, ice maker with crushed ice and the fast-freezer shelf. We like the fact that it has rearangable storage; thus, the adjustable shelves in our opinion are one of the best features of the refrigerator. The deep storage in the unit allows us to store 9 gallons of milk. We also like the humidity control feature on all three drawers. We have had to repair the exterior light switch on the door where the water is dispensed after owning the refrigerator for about 5 years. In 2008 we had to repair the fan evaporater cooling fan which was a big job as it took my husband 4-6 hours to repair. Other than these two repairs, the refrigerator is still working fine. We would not buy this brand refrigerator again as we would buy the Fisher and Paykel refrigerator as we have had very good luck with the Fisher and Paykel washer/dryer and dishwasher. No, I would not necessarily recommend the KitchenAid (Whirlpool) to a friend as we would recommend the Fisher and Paykel brand. I would buy a fisher and paykal. very
