"Afridge that wakes you up at night"
makes loud noises. Lg refuse to admit it is faulty. Said ice falling but it has no ice maker. Sent 2 techs. 1st one said he had no idea, 2nd one said it would need replacing. Lg still say no fault. we sent 3 videos of the noise. their first2 replies were ice maker then water dripping on heater. Third time they said no noise on videos even though they were the same videos. Absolutely no customer satisfaction here.

"Interior plastic shelf supports"
Purchased refrigerator 07/2020 it is now May 18, 2022. However one does not expect the plastic that hold the shelves up to break and fall apart even after a year and a half. LG will not compensate in anyway. I will NEVER purchase an LG product again. Very poor materials are used

"LG Warranty"
I bought this unit and love the room inside of it, but 4 weeks after 1 year expired Nov 2020 the blower motor for the freezer started rattling and I called LG they stated sorry their warranty is what it is and they offered NO help. So I paid to fix it around 300,00, then 1 week ago same thing, I called LG gave them my old case number and said ( again ) and they stated again NO help. All i can say is they offer no customer assistance, Not even 50/50 I get it but 4 weeks after warranty date expired, then another 15 months same issue just no good customer service from them at all.

"Do Not Buy"
Bought our LG refrigerator November 2018. All the reviews I read said it was a great refrigerator. We bought it as well as the extended warranty. Thank God!!! One month past the manufacturers warranty ended our compressor died. (Found out now, this is a very common problem with this company) I was asked by LG multiple questions to help "diagnose" what was wrong so they could send the right repairman. After a couple weeks, yes, I said weeks a repairman came out to fix the refrigerator. LG did not send any notes so the right repairman could be sent. The repairman could not work on the compressor. He said this was very typical of LG to not forward any notes so that repairs could be made efficiently. I again had to call LG to get a new service request even though the company that came out told them (LG) they couldn't fix the problem. I was told that they would send someone else out. Two weeks of not hearing from them goes by, I called again. Was told again that they would send someone out. Still no one came. Then got an email saying they couldn't find anyone to come repair it (we live in a rural area) so I needed to submit all my information to them so they could begin the process to determine if they would refund us or give us a new one. Another week goes by. Nothing. I call again and I am assured that I will hear back from someone and to make sure I don' miss their call. I would hear from them in 3-5 days. Nothing. Another week goes by. I am still waiting. I was told it would be 4-6 weeks to receive a refund check if that's the route we decided on. I was also told I could not speak to anyone in the authorization department. I just had to wait to hear from them. People, for your sanity, run far far away from LG. Do not buy from them. Worst customer service!!! I'm still waiting...

"Water water everywhere!"
We purchased our LG refrigerator in 2017. Since then we have had 2 major problems. 1st. The compressor had to be replaced in 2020, and took 2 weeks to be repaired. 2nd. Major issue, I was awaken at 1:14am to a noise and the water dispenser had malfunctioned and was pouring water out all over the floor. It had been running for a very long time, as the damage to our home is extensive. I pushed and banged on the switch to get it to stop but no luck my husband did the same as we were standing in lots of water, and it would not stop running, so we had to pull the frig. out and turn the water off at the valve. I am talking lots of water on the floor throughout the house. I looked through the owners manual and there it is in print."If water or ice dispenses unexpectedly, turn off the water supply and contact a qualified service center." Kind of hard to do when your asleep! We will never buy an LG Refrigerator again.

"Compressor failure"
I bought this French door refrigerator just over two years ago. The ice making machine has failed twice (just after end of one year warranty, so more than $200 labor) then a month ago the the fridge and freezer stopped working. All the food in my freezer had to be thrown out as after I called LG and they 'remotely' re set my fridge (the process of getting thru to the right department was a three hour endeavour) they told me to wait 24 hours, after this time, not only was my fridge freezer not working but also now ALL my food was spoiled and I had to throw it out. They then told me to call the company that represents them here, I did, they came out for a fee of $85 to 'diagnose' although they already said after I described what was wrong, that it was the compressor. They came, diagnosed it was the compressor and came back to fix it a week later. Then the compressor they bought (supplied by LG in Toronto was faulty... I heard the engineer on the phone to his boss say "this is the third time this has happened". He left saying they would put a 'rush' on another compressor for me and would be back in two days. LG has not shipped anything still (a week later) and I ha e the door the technician took off the freezer in my dining room, with the fridge sitting half out in my kitchen. This is the third time in just over two years this 'fridge' has broken down. I will never buy or recommend LG , not only for the product but because of the Terrible service. Dont ever buy LG.

"Don't Buy LG Refrigerators"
I bought this refrigerator 2.5 years ago. It is beautiful with all the right features. Unfortunately the ice maker started melting ice, then the freezer went then the main unit. Nothing was cold. I am a reasonable person and was ok with having it repaired. But after a tech visit three days in a row, and a brand new linear compressor, it is not fixed. I am hearing the linear compressor has issues, my technician said he is constantly fixing them. In my case that didn't do it. I think I have a lemon. If something clogs the line of these appliances they can be hard to diagnose and fix. I am basically trashing this unit and buying a new Frigidaire. I just don't trust it and am not going to spend weeks in a pandemic trying to get it fixed, then hope it stays that way. $2,400 frig. It 's a disgrace and LG should be recalling these. From everything I hear and read, I lost confidence and will not deal with this issue on a two year old unit. No more LG for me, buyer beware. What a disgrace.

"Nightmare... a very bad one"
Purchased this model LG frig in June 2016 from Costco. The coils and condenser quit in April 2019. When we contacted LG they said they would cover the parts and also the labor. Tried to to get this fixed through LG's appliance repair company that they contract with. That company refused to fix the frig unless the parts were shipped directly to us from LG. They said that LG never reimbursed them for the total cost of the repair. When we received the APN (authorization number) from LG we were told to give this to the service tech. (If this is LG's contracted company for appliance repairs, why are they not communicating between each other?) Everything had to go through us to the repair people from LG. Terrible set up. They fought between each other in getting our frig fixed. The service tech was incredibly rude, even hanging up on my husband. It took us Three weeks to get our frig repaired by another company 40 miles away, we had to pay the labor cost anyway of $317.00, and this new service tech said that LG has a terrible reputation for the cheap parts they use, namely the condenser and that he said he doubted this condenser he was installing would last even 2 years. So just last week, January 22, 2020 this condenser is going out AGAIN. Barely 9 months since we had it repaired. Every appliance repair company I spoke with while trying to find someone to repair our frig, said that LG's condensers are still burning out at this time, Feb, 2020, and most of their repair calls are for LG refrigerators. So I am going American and will forsake any appliance purchases of Korean or Chinese origin. I just purchased a Kitchenaid refrigerator made by Whirlpool. I am so done with foreign workmanship

Less than 2 years after purchase it went out in Aug and has not worked a full month since. I will never have another LG product. The service company is so backed up its always at least a 3 week repair this appliance has been out 4 times since August

"Refrigerator was defective and a problem LG was aware of."
The refrigerator is defective and they are still selling them. Had refrigerator delivered on a Monday from Home Depot plugged in the unit and 3 hours later we had an error message displayed and touched the sides to move unit out to unplug and the sides were very hot to the touch. Talked to LG and they said the cooling fan was not working and they could not repair unit and we needed to return unit to Home depot. Home Depot would not replace the unit at the same price. LG and Home Depot have lost my business.

I would caution anyone thinking about LG for any appliance, especially there refrigerators. We purchased an LG refrigerator brand new in 2015 for over $2800. We have had nothing but problems with the fridge and to make matters worse LG customer service is even worse then thier junk they try to pawn off to unsuspecting buyers. They claim to have warranties on there compressors but none of there official warranty shops want to replace them because LG doesn't even pay them. What ever you do, don't buy anything LG.

"Terrible Customer Service"
Do not waste your money on LG. Customer service is non-existent and reps are foreigners who cannot speak English. The refrigerator looks good and is priced right up front. Unfortunately when the compressor goes out, and it will, you have very little recourse but to pay for a very expensive part and installation. You must use a LG approved repair person however, they don't have any. Read the reviews. The compressors are defective and LG won't re-engineer them because they last about 14 months. Just when the warranty runs out. Ho hum! Call a repairman and ask about LG problems before you buy.

"LG Side By Side"
I like the room inside, door alarm. That is it. All four appliances (lg) were delivered on the 11th. Refrig master control boad doied on the 16th. I came home to water all over my new kitchen floor, food melted and wam freezer and refrig. No help from Home Depot until I pressed them and they came put and let me use a small refrig that evening. No one will pay for my food and Home Depot stated I did not buy an extended warranty from them so not their problem. Lg was rude....reoair main came out Thursday and needed the part scheduled for today and cancelled due to illness and cantcome out until Wednesday. Very inconvenient as it is between 1 and 5pm for service. I will never, never buy an lg appliance again and never.never from Home Depot. Second one in 8 years that died when new. Very disappointed on how everything was handled by Home Depot and lg

I purchased a new fridge because me and the wife were redoing the kitchen for a party we were having. We decided to go with the LG line because of the good reviews and the price was within our range. I enjoy the room the LG has and the freezer on the bottom. No complaints with this and it has not frozen anything in the fridge area yet like our old fridge which I would get so mad at. But the one thing I dislike is the water to fill up your glasses. It has a different taste to it, and I'm not sure why. We have called LG and they are currently sending us a new water filter but I question if this is wrong with the fridge what else could be wrong. But other than that I am happy with it

"Chill Out, the frig that changed my life"
When it comes to keeping cool my LG refrigerator is the top of its class. I have owned the refrigerator for about 9 months now and my food has never been fresher. Designated storage slots for meats, vegetables, and fruits where all storage areas can be set to a different setting(dry, damp, freeze). the frig also has a freezer connected on and it being a front open frig, getting in and out is so easy. With me saying anything bad about it, well there is nothing at all. If something were to happen to this refrigerator I would go and get another LG without a doubt. Great refrigerators, great service, and great customization.

"LG LRSC26911TT Refrigerator is the Bomb"
After a complete kitchen renovation about 6 years ago I was in the market for a high end refrigerator. LG was the last brand that I was looking for, I thought that LG only made electronics. As I did my research I realized that maybe high end was just a little bit too much for me to spend, so I went looking for an alternative. I walked into my local Best Buy and came across this LG Side By Side refrigerator. I must say I fell in love with this fridge on the spot. For a very reasonable price of around $1400 I had it delivered to my home and set up. This 25 Cu. Ft side by side model gave me all the room that a family of 6 would need. The unit I purchased was designed with the washable stainless steel finish, and it is most definitely washable for sure. I could not be more happy with this purchase as this fridge has been 100% reliable. I have yet to have it repaired the only thing I have had to do is change the water filter in it every 6 months. And speaking of that the water that comes out of this fridge is sparkling clean. Living in South Florida i have a hard water problem yet the filtration on this LG fridge is fantastic, each and every glass and ice cube has been sparkling clean. I would recommend this fridge for anyone out there who wants a great looking product with all the reliability you can ask for.

"My LG Refrigerator Bargain That is a Family Delight"
My LG Refrigerator Bargain That is a Family Delight I have owned my LG French Door Refrigerator for 15 months. It was a purchase from a scratch and dent outlet of a major appliance store. It was an unexpected purchase, but needed at the time. It is a lovely appliance that fits well with our kitchen décor. It is black veneer with gold trimming and has the two French doors and a large freezer compartment bottom drawer. The capacity is wonderful in all areas and it has a water and ice dispenser with a shelf in the front. The ice maker is in the inside of the door and that is working well. I like the ability to adjust the shelves. The water filter is easily replaced. The LED Display on the front is convenient and helpful with temperature and feature adjustments with the water system. It is an easy to clear refrigerator. The only thing I dislike is that the scratch is visible up close, but I was given some liquid to help cover it. The removable glass shelves are heavy and I spend some time doing adjustments to create needed space. No repairs or replacements required to date. Yes, I would buy the same brand again and I would highly recommend LG to a friend.
