"Crosley is crappy!"
The home we bought came with a gas stove manufactured by Crosley. I just don't trust this thing. It's virtually like cooking in the middle ages. The burner guards sometimes appear to be on fire when the stove is on a high temperature. It puffs fire when the pilots lights & sometimes they don't light at all. The oven preheat takes forever & always smells like something is burning. It takes longer than usual to cook a roast or whatever. I can't wait to get new appliances! I've cooked on alot of gas stoves in my day, but this one takes the cake! Displeased in Arizona

"Faulty"
This stove hasn't worked right since I got it. Now after two years it almost started a fire. I put it on 425 walked to pick up kids at school and came back to a house full of smoke. I had put two pans of potato wedges in that would usually take 45-60 min to cook, they were black. The "junk" at the bottom of the stove had turned to gray ash like when you put it on self clean. So scary. I would highly staying away from this brand.

"Won't own another"
My stove was 3 years old. No one home on Tuesday except my pets. When I got home, my stove had caught on fire during the day. A lot of smoke damage, soot every where in my house but my pets were safe (soot covered but safe). I have had no problems other than slow on preheating. To think I could have lost my pets and my house. No one from Crosley will call me back!

"Crosley Poor Performance"
We have had our Crosley Electric Range a little over a year. It takes a very long time to preheat. We bought an oven thermometer and in 25 minutes, the oven isn't heated to halfway to the required temperature. I have called regarding this problem to no avail.
