"Do not buy this range"
We bought this Kenmore range in September, 2017, Everything seemed fine until the oven was on for a period of time. The panel behind the knobs and the knobs themselves are extremely hot! You need to use a pot holder to touch the knobs. Have had Sears out 4 times and they refuse to fix it because it works.. I was told that as if I bought a lemon car it's the same with this range you're stuck with it. Never buy from Sears because they do not have any kind of customer service and they simply do not care.

"Very disappointed with Kenmore range 79074233314"
Sears - What happened to your quality? For Christmas, my husband bought me a range and frig. After using the range for 7 weeks the igniter burned out and there is a problem with the control panel. 6 phone calls later and 2 repair visits, I am waiting to hear from the replacement agent. Customer reviews online RE: your ranges are horrific. Please fix or pull this range before someone gets seriously hurt. I am planning to replace this appliance. Very inconvenient with lots of time spent already.

"Worst stove I ever had"
I tried to pick a powerful stove, in which the stove was powerful enough, but unfortunately, the dual burner was designed right next to the panel of knobs, in which after turning on the fire for about ten minutes, the knobs would be burning hot, unable to turn the knobs off without using a wet towel, and I believe the knobs will cause fire eventually if I am don't use it cautiously. Would never recommend such a bad manufacture design stove, and Kenmore refuse to do anything for me for this brand new item.

"Kenmore cook top (gas) with 5 Burners"
I do not recommend this gas stove. Does not provide enough heat to cook food or fry something, oil get cold very quickly so food does not get cooked properly does not get crispy, does not taste good. Big burner flame also has flaw, does not give even heat so completely useless. All other smaller burner does not provide enough heat either. I will not recommend to anybody.

"Throw-away Stove"
I submitted a review of the Kenmore slide-in stove to the Sears online review. But they "moderated" it -- meaning they declined to run it. So the reason you see only positive reviews is that everyone else's reviews are "moderated" like mine. So here's the review: "Throw-away Stove: Within five years of buying this stove, we have to replace it. One element doesn't work at all, and the oven can't keep temperature. We've had service people in to try to fix it but they say they can't, because all the parts are electronic. We'd have to replace the entire electronics control panel, and even then, there's no guarantee it would solve the problems. Electronic gadgets may look cool, but they're not fixable. One big part of the problem is that the electronic controls are at the front, where the heat comes out of the oven, which melts them. Another problem is that the electronics are cheap. This has been a throw-away stove for us. We are now looking to replace it."

"Unable to remove smoke stains from stove door and back panel"
Since the incident with the pie filling bubbling over in the oven, I decided to put a foil cookie sheet on the bottom rack of the oven to catch any spills that might happen. To be clear: didn't put the baking pan directly on the foil cookie sheet, I put the foil sheet on the very bottom rack of the oven, (definitely didn't put it on the floor of the oven) and I put whatever I'm baking on the middle rack. It took forever to bake pies, cakes, cookies, etc. The top gets browner and browner, but the bottom is barely cooking. I've tried using a foil cookie sheet on the bottom rack while cooking lasagna and other things that could spill over, and again, the flimsy little cookie sheet slows down the baking and it also bakes unevenly. as with other reviews I read in here, I also have to turn things around in the oven half way through in order for things to cook evenly. I'm cutting up my Sears card and cancelling my account with them. If they can't test their products more carefully (surely they realize that smoke emitting from the oven through the vents is almost inevitable in most households at one time or another), and it never occurred to them that it would stain the finish on the stove near the vents when this happens, or even suggest or sell a product that will remove the stains, then I certainly am not going to buy any more Sears products any more!

"Unable to remove smoke stains from stove door and back panel"
I had fruit pies in the oven. The pie fillings bubbled over and burned on the bottom of the oven. A lot of smoke poured out of the vents. The oven vents are just above the oven door handle and top left hand side of the stove above the back burner. Smoke from the burning pie filling poured out of the vents and now they're stained with yellowish/brownish stains that won't come off. Shortly after the pies were out of the oven and the smoke quit coming out of the vents, I tried to clean the smoke stains from around the vents, but to no avail... It was baked on there for good! Also, a knob beside the vent is also stained. I've tried everything to get that stain off of the two vent areas, and nothing works. I've tried to clean the knob, but it's made of some sort of plastic and the stain won't come off of there either, and because its made of plastic, I don't want to try anything harsh that will make it look worse. I will never buy another Kenmore product... ever! "Unhappy housewife"
My Kenmore is 2.5 years old and has a problem with the clock. Sears serviceman order the parts needed Dec 24 today we are waiting and waiting for the parts, no one knows when they'll be available, therefore no appointment can't be made for service/installation. Very unhappy with Kenmore parts and Sears, I do not recommend sears at all.

"F1 Error code"
Just had the appliance repairman here today to check out the stove. It was showing an f1 error code. I almost fell of my chair when he called later in the afternoon with a replacement timer part cost of $674. That is more than I paid for the bloody oven when it was new. Not buying another Kenmore that's for sure.

"Kenmore Stove Review"
I really like my Kenmore Range. I've had it for about 6 months. I got it because my old stove (and it was really old!) was having trouble lighting. It's a perfect no frills stove -- nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done. My one complaint would be that I'd like it to be a little easier to fine-tune the strength of the flame. I haven't had to repair it yet (but I've only had it for less than a year). I'd recommend this stove for someone who's looking for a new stove.

"Kenmore Electric Self Clean Review"
The Kenmore stove that I had recently purchased is quite an accessory to the home. At first i thought it would be just a plain old bland stove, but i was wrong. The stove adds a touch of elegance to the house in my opinion. Overall i am satisfied with he stove. i have not yet had any issues with the stove malfunctioning. I did however have one issues with the stove top cracking though. I was doing dishes and i accidentally dropped a cup and it his the stove top. The glass shattered but the stove top only had a minor crack. I called Customer Service about this, to see if i could get a replacement for the stove top. Unfortunately the stove was out of date, but they referred me to a company that could fix the stove top for half the price of any other company. Overall i would recommend this stove to anyone.

"Kenmore 7751 Gas Range"
I've had this stove for about 4 years now and it works with no problem. Every once in awhile the electric starter doesn't work but that is VERY occasionally. No parts had to be prepared in the short time I have had it so I would definitely recommend it. Cooks food evenly etc.

"Who knew a budget buy would provide the same quality as more expensive stoves?"
I bought my Kenmore 94212 about 1 1/2 years ago and I must say I am definitely impressed. I only paid like $450 for it and it outperforms my Mom's $1,700 stove. I like how quickly it heats up and how it maintains the proper heat throughout cooking. The oven bakes so evenly I never have burnt edges on my baked goods. The broiler does a great job on chicken and fish dishes. The ovens size is really good for the price. It even has a warming tray that keeps things warm and it does have a self cleaning feature. The only thing I don't like is it's not flat and has the coils instead but maybe that's why it works so well. It could have been made more sleek to fit in smaller kitchens, it's smaller than older stoves but wider than the more expensive ones but it fit my kitchen well. I would definitely recommend this stove to my friends and family. It's a budget buy that I can honestly say shocked me performance wise, I am truly happy to have such a great stove for a great price!

"How did I live without convection?"
I bought this electric range on Black Friday, 2010. The main reason I bought this (originally) was that it was nearly $400 cheaper than what it normally is listed for. What I ended up with, was a great range. I had never used a convection oven before this, but now I wonder how I survived without it. The cook time, when using it, is cut in nearly half. The other bonus is you don't have to heat the oven as much as indicated in directions/recipes (25 degrees lower). This will save energy in the long run. The stainless steel look is beautiful. The cooktop has 5 burners which is very nice for large cooking. Two burners even have two rings that you can select to use either just the standard size or an extra-large size for bigger pots. One burner even claims to have a "turbo-boil". Even though I haven't timed it, it seems to boil water faster than I thought our old one did. Overall, this is a great find and a great range. The cooktop and oven cleans easily, cooks evenly, and looks great.

"Not as good as I hoped"
Our old stove went kaput a few days before Thanksgiving. We went to Sears & this stove was on sale. So we had it delivered & installed in time to cook the turkey. Let me tell you that nothing turned out that day. The stove looks great. It is white with a black glass covered stove top. But each burner on the stove has a different personality. The back ones seem to heat up way faster than the front ones. I can barely boil water on the front 2 burners. But I really have to watch it because 1 front burner will eventually heat up way hotter than the other front burner, except I can't seem to remember which burner gets real hot & which one seems to stay on low. I thought I would the glass cook top. It looks so modern & clean. When its new. It is a high maintenence pain in the rump. I am constantly wiping it down to keep it clean. I have to use this special no scratch cleanser/polisher stuff to clean it. And this fancy cleaner is expensive. My stove top has 4 burners & a "warming zone" in the rear center of the stove top. That is nice to keep my tea water warm. But with the glass top if anything boils over you have a hot mess that floods over the entire top of the stove. And it seems that none of my pots & pans have a flat bottom as every one of them wobble. Which you don't notice on a stove with burners as the spot causing the wobble fits into the center of burner. The oven itself has hot spots. When I bake cupcakes or cookies some are burnt & some are under cooked. I have to remember to rotate whatever's in the oven so it cooks evenly. It does have a convection bake function available on the oven but I used it one time & really dried out our dinner. But that was probably more my fault than the stove. I will say the stove has been totally problem free since we bought it. The finish/paint still looks nice. The cooktop has held up. We've had it for about 3 years now. I also should mention all the controls are on the top of the stove above the stove top which I really like. That keeps my little boy from turning on the stove or oven on. Alot of the ovens I looked at had the controls just above the oven door. And little kids can reach them too easily. I keep thinking I will figure out all its quirks & then I'll like it more. All in all I would not buy this exact stove again but I would by a Kenmore again. I would also recommend a Kenmore stove (just not this model) to a friend. Our previous stove was a Kenmore & it lasted a really long time. I hope this one does too. Because while I have a few things I dislike about my stove it's not so bad that I want to buy a new one.

"Gets the job done!"
I have had my Kenmore 7120 for just under a year now. I can't say that I've had any problems with it (and in fact the one time that I did actually burn something was the fault of the pan I was using and not the stove itself). The timer is easy to set and the surface is very easy to clean. The two complaints (if you can call them complaints) I would have are I wish that the stove had a "self-cleaning" setting, and I wish that the digital readout would include the temperature setting, as opposed to the current central knob that it now has. Apart from those two miniscule complaints, I really have nothing negative to say about it. So far I haven't had to replace any parts. I've always been satisfied with Kenmore appliances, and this one is no different. I would recommend this product to others and if ever looking for another stove in the future, I would buy another Kenmore.

"Mama's New Stove"
Ours is very new and still smells new. We have owned it for 30 days. We went to our local Sears and picked it out of a catalog only seeing the floor model (not for sale). We ended up getting a great deal and saved around $80.00 (which with three kids is a great deal!!). We bought the 30" freestanding gas range, we bought stainless steel. Even though our fridge is one brand and our stove another-the match and look like a set. It has been awesome to clean, wipe and dry. I do have to be careful not to use windex or it will streak. So far there is nothing that I do not like and I have not had to replace anything. I LOVE that it has three oven cleaning features to clean itself. My older one did not have that. We did purchase the extended warranty for three years. I would definatly buy it again but I am hoping that I don't have too since it was expensive.

"Review of stove"
I have owned my stove for a little over a year now. I was moving into my first home, and was looking for a stove that was inexpensive, but effective. I was not looking to spend an "arm and leg," but I also wanted a stove that would last and get the job done. After reading many reviews and shopping around, I decided to get a Kenmore. The only dislikes is that it is a regular stove top, so the burners get dirty quite frequently. This means that they must be cleaned often or they will start to smoke when heated. I have fortunately never had to repair or replace the stove yet. Overall, the stove is a good quality for the price paid, and works very well despite the fact of how the burners dirty fast. In general, I like the Kenmore brand, but next time I will buy one that is more expensive. I would recommend the Kenmore brand to anyone for its reliability and affordability.

"My Kenmore stove review"
I have recently moved into a new home that has a Kenmore stove. While I really like the way the stove looks, I am not impressed with how it functions. I have had it turn off in the middle of baking something multiple times without warning. It also will lock up randomly and you can't open the door or turn it off. It doesn't get as hot as it should and takes much longer to cook things. I have not been very satisfied with my Kenmore stove. I am thinking of replacing it and getting a different brand of stove. I would not recommend anyone getting a Kenmore stove as I think they are not very high quality and are really unreliable. The only good thing about this stove is it is easy to function and learn how to use. I would not buy another Kenmore stove as this one I have has had a lot of problems.
