"The vent on the back of the Whirlpool electric range is impossible to clean out."
A small piece of sweet potato fell into the vent on the back of this Whirlpool electric range that I just bought a few months ago and I could not get it out. I could not get the vent cover off and I went on the Whirlpool website to get help. The person I chatted with, Brandi, said I would have to have a service technician come out to disassemble my range. Every time the vent gets food or sauce in it I have to call a service technician to come out and disassemble the range so I can clean out the vent, which is placed right behind the burners. I think the vent cover should pop off and make it easier to clean.

"Poor choise in ovens"
My new wall oven has been installed for less than 7 months, and is being repaired for the 2nd time. Same problem. Won't replace it, will only fix till warranty runs runs out, then I am out of luck. Buyer beware!

"Paint failure"
My brand new Whirlpool electric range has a chip in the white paint on the bezel that surrounds the control panel. I called these good people but they do not stand behind their products and will not repair the problem or send me a new part. They sent me some touch up paint. This is not acceptable on a $1300 product. Beware!!! Whirlpool quality control is terrible and their customer service is worse.

"Awful"
The top of the stove has been spray painted and not enamelled. I've only had the stove for about 3 months and it was brand new included package with the house and other Whirlpool products. The stove top has already scratched because of the paint. The oven smoked really badly when cooking the turkey for Thanksgiving and it wasn't the turkey! Rubbish products. Already gotten rid of the fridge as that was terrible to clean and it fingerprint marked all the time despite trying to get it off the Whirlpool suggested. Bought a new fridge and it doesn't mark at all. Never again!

"Piece of"
Aqualift is fraudulent. The stovetop is horrible to keep clean and the thermostat or burner are starting to fall apart. Whirlpool products are garbage. The dishwasher is equally unimpressive and totally worthless as is the Whirlpool name. Garbage! The microwave is a total piece of garbage as well. Never again. I'm in the process of getting rid of all the Whirlpool garbage after only two years. I spend my 6000 dollars on a rival

"Love the ease of cleaning"
I am very happy with this range. It was warehoused new. I got it at an auction. It is now a discontinued product. I hope I may never need parts. The oven window is so large, it keeps me from having to open the door during cooking. I like the smooth top and the nice clean look it gives. The whirlpool web site on the other hand would not let me inquire about service. I was able to register it on the website. I might buy this brand again.

"Whirlpool Ovens with Sharp Edged Drawers"
This pertains to several Whirlpool models sold in August of 2016. I bought model #wfg515s0es0 at Best Buy and it was delivered 8/2/16. The drawer had smooth action in the store but mine was herky jerky and I noticed the no grip rough edge. I contacted Whirlpool who sent a Tech employee out 8-5-16 but said nothing could be done and the drawer was on the track. I am planning to return it and get another stove, not a Whirlpool and will look for one with a handle on pullout drawer. Drawer edge is so sharp I am sure it will result in cut hands and it can't be opened with a glove as there is no room to grip with an oven mitt.

"Large burners"
I bought my Whirlpool electric stove new and the two large burners now don't work right - stove is only 2 yrs old. When you turn the large burners on low or med they go from that to red hot. Would cost almost as much to fix them as stove cost new. I would never buy this brand or any related to it again. Turned on the self cleaning oven for the first time and it burnt my oven unit out.

"Horrible product!"
We bought our Whirlpool oven about 4 years ago. Within 2 years or less after we bought it the burners started acting funny. Right now I have one burner that is right. The others go to off then right to very high! It is dangerous and I will never buy another whirlpool product (or any of their other names!) They own several. We replaced an oven that was 35 years old and worked better than this garbage by whirlpool. Of course we called them and they really did not care that our house could burn down because of their product.

"Electric range/Whirlpool Gold"
Whirlpool Gold Electric Range. Was very satisfied with product until oven control and sensor had to be replaced in Nov 2013 and then again in April 2014. Same problem August 2014. This would be the third set of control and sensors in 10 months. Called c/s with Whirlpool, no help. Researching other brands, will never buy any appliance in the Whirlpool family.

"Temps fluctuate"
I agree with other low reviews. Our two large stove burners (our stove is 4 years old) need new rheostats. Seriously? I might expect that after 12 years. We are trying to cook eggs and it is on medium low and glowing red and sounding very electric (like current running through it. Also like the other reviewer about the oven when you change the temp it just stays at the temp previously set. Argh!

"Cannot clean the grates on gas stove"
Had stove one month now. It is absolutely impossible to clean the burner grates. Have tried everything suggested in the manual and also called support. Support said that the grate must be cleaned as soon as something spills on it. Well, that is not reasonable especially if you are in the middle of cooking. By the time you are done cooking, the grate is permanently stained. Support admitted that there was really no way to maintain the grates. If you like to keep your appliances looking like new, do not buy a Whirlpool gas stove. If you don’t care about your stove looking like a filthy, dirty piece of crap then…

I have had a Whirlpool refrigerator, washer, and electric range. I have since gotten rid of the washer it sounded like a trash compactor. The refrigerator quit cooling, My range the burners do not stay at the right temperature, The oven if you preheat the oven and you want to change it it stays the same and you do not know what temperature you have. Your appliances stink and I hope someone will read this.

"I love to cook on this range."
I bought this stove over 5 years ago and I'm still yet to find a fault with it. I bought this stove because the old one that I had gave a very small flame and it would take a very long time for me to cook dishes that already take a long time. Let me tell you, this stove is amazing! The flame that comes from the burners can get nice and high and that's a good thing because my pot roasts don't take the 7 hours that my first stove took to cook. The oven is also great as the space is big so it can hold four cakes comfortably. Also, I love the fact that it has such a large window in the front of the oven so I can watch my cakes without opening the oven door and running the risk of my cake falling. The oven and range surfaces are very smooth so they are very easy to clean. I would definitely buy this stove again and I would encourage anyone to buy it.

"Whirlpool Makes A Durable Stove"
I have owned this stove for about fourteen years. It is a very dependable stove, and it has stood up to all of the cooking and other things I have subjected it to over the years. It is relatively easy to clean as it doesn't have a lot of nooks for gunk to hide in, and it likewise seems to have largely stood up to rust and permanent staining. Likewise, the top is very easy to clean and very durable. I have never had to replace it or have it repaired, and it has only stopped working during power outages. One thing I do dislike about it though are the control buttons on the outside. They are rather hard to push sometimes, particularly when trying to get to the desired temperature in a timely manner. Also, it takes awhile for it to heat up, especially after a long period without use. I suppose I would recommend this brand to a friend, though I do not know much about stoves in general.

"Not always the best!"
We have owned this stove for not even a year yet. The black surface is awful to clean, leaves very visible streaks. The burners take along time to heat up to get food cooking on the stove top and now the oven doesn't cook correctly. I need to turn down the temperature 25 degrees and reduce my cooking time otherwise my food burns on the outside and is not cooked on the inside. We have checked the inside temperature and it reads correctly, so not sure why my food cooks unevenly. The only things i like about this stove is the fact that it is a coil, it has self-cleaning, and a delayed start timer. This is certainly not a brand I will purchase again. My last stove was also a Whirlpool and just quit working on me after only two years of owning it. I own other Whirlpool appliances and love them, but not their stoves.

"Whirlpool WFE366LVQ LStove Review"
I have owed my Whirlpool Stove for about 7 months. I love that it has the flat stovetop which makes cleaning a lot easier. I also love the hold warm feature which is great for keeping the food warm while other things are still cooking. It keeps the food at a perfect temperature and does not burn it. The custom broil, rapid preheat and delay bake is nice too. The knobs and buttons are very easy to understand and use. The extra large viewing window makes it easy to look inside to check on the food. I paid just over $500 and think it was well worth it. I have never had any problems with it and have not had to replace any parts. I have no complaints on this stove. This is the best stove I have ever owned. I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a new stove.

"Not so hot in a Florida Kitchen"
I've owned my stove for three years. I purchased my kitchen appliances at the same time and wanted everything to match so I stuck with the Whirlpool Gold brand. They are attractive and Whirlpool seemed like a reputable brand. I initially went for this stove because it had a glass flat cooking surface, adjustable baking racks, and an attractive design. My biggest complaint with this stove is that the cooking surface takes forever to cook items. Boiling a pot of water for spaghetti noodles takes an inordinately long time. If anyone is in a hurry to eat, we stick with the microwave. I did have to repair the stove. The door handle broke off after one year of use. The repair went fine. The repairman was professional and I haven't had any problems since. I don't believe I would buy the same brand again, nor recommend it. I haven't been a 100% satisfied with it.

"I love my Whirlpool Gold stovetop"
I currently own a Whirlpool Gold stovetop, and have had it in my house for almost a year now. It's a black top with a stainless steel frame and door. It's a wonderful stove, very shiny. The best parts about the stove include its ability to heat up quickly, and it's easy to clean. The downside is that my model doesn't have a back splash and while setting up my kitchen, I had to purchase stainless steel to place along the back of the wall. However, the set up looks fantastic. I couldn't be happier with the finished setup. Cleaning is a breeze, just spray some cleaner and wipe away, it is that easy. I haven't had any trouble with it just yet, and have never had any problems with either the stove or oven. It has worked flawlessly. I would definitely recommend this, as all of the appliances in the kitchen match with the stovetop, all being Whirlpool Gold, and I enjoy the entire collection.

"My Whirlpool Stove"
I have owned my stove for a couple of weeks. I like that it has a timer, so that I can time my cooking. I really do like the fact that it cleans itself, it is electric and it also has a bottom drawer. I don't like that it overheats on the stovetop. If you have a child, it can be a little dangerous to touch. I also don't like the fact that the oven is a little too small on the inside. I have never needed to repair or replace it, due to the fact that I have just received it. I would buy the same brand again and I would recommend it to a friend.
