"Perfect for its purpose and compact enough to not get in the way"
My wife and I have owned the wine cabinet for 6 months and we are very satisfied with our purchase. The size is small enough to fit onto a shelf in the kitchen so it is not in the way but still easily accessible. The all black cabinet fits in perfectly with our other kitchen appliances, and the design for 6 bottles allows us to store a variety of bottle sizes. Two of the shelves are removable so you may store a "fatter" bottle if you need to. In the top right corner inside the cabinet is a nob that allows you to adjust the temperature, on the front door is the temperature reading so you can easily tell how cold your drinks are being stored. We have had zero problems with temperature fluctuations and are able to keep the drinks at a crisp 55 degrees. We have not had any problems with the cabinet and have recommended it to a number of our friends. The day we need to upgrade in size, we will be purchasing another Haier wine cabinet.

"A review of the Haier Sixteen Bottle Wine Cooler by a beginning Wine Enthusiast and Homeowner"
My wife and I received our Haier Wine Cooler as a gift for our Wedding in September of 2010. It's been in continuous use since then. We like the easy to use temperature controls on the front of the unit and the quietness of the unit, we barely realize it's there. Since we do not have a dedicated room for our wines this unit sits on our dry sink in our dining room and does not take up much space. Temperature hasn't been a problem as the unit seems to hold the correct temperature at all times. The unit looks slick in all black and has a LED light on the inside to view your bottles. The only thing my wife and I have ever complained about the unit is that we wish it were bigger and held more bottles. This is more a criticism of the gift giver than the unit itself as the unit so far has performed exactly as we'd hoped it would. I've referred this unit to friends and colleagues that mentioned they were in the market for one and told them we have had no problems at all with ours. If I were to buy another unit I would look at Haier first and look to see if they made units that held more bottles.

"Haier Under Counter wine fridge"
I've owned my Haier under counter wine refrigerator for five years. It worked well the first few years, I like the interior light that automatically turns on when the fridge is opened. It also has two zones, which is a nice feature. I dislike the fact that the door gasket continually dried out, cracks, and the door then does not shut properly and requires repair. This has happened several times, once the first year we owned it, once the third year and I'm noticing it cracking again. There were no issues with the repair process. I would buy the Haier wine refrigerator again since it is a decent brand and relatively cheap. It also is fully functional for chilling other items, like water, beer and soda. There is also an "impressive" factor to having a wine fridge in your kitchen. I would definitely recommend this wine refrigerator to all of my family, friends and colleagues.

"All Wine Refrigerators are not created equally"
I have owned the Haier for over one year so far. I had heard previous reviews of this model but was enticed by the low price and free deliver offered by the salesman. The unit is of perfect size and weight . The fridge is easy to set up and matches well with most any room color scheme. This model has multiple flaws in its construction and operation. This model is the most unreliable wine fridge on the market. Within a few weeks both fans had died. I contacted the dealer who mailed new fans which also died in less than a month. The fans are very easily replaced as if the manufacturer knew they would fail. I have several friends with different wine fridges , none of which have failed such as mine. I bought this unit for under 300.00 dollars and thought i was getting a good deal, however I received nothing but misery with this unit.

"Compact and Stylish in the Kitchen"
I never know what wine I might be in the mood for, so my Haier wine cooler has been a great addition to my kitchen. This free standing wine cooler holds up to 8 bottles which gives me just enough selection and doesn't take a lot of room on my kitchen countertop. I have had it for over two years now and have never had an issue with it while it continues to keep my different wine selections at an even temperature throughout the year. I love the blue temperature display and its black, slick look allows it to fit right into my kitchen décor. I just can't say anything bad about it because it fits my needs perfectly! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to free up some space in their family fridge or just need a compact fridge to store those bottles of wine until the right time!

"Review of 40-bottle Haier Wine Refrigerator"
We've owned our Haier HVZ040ABH for about 2.5 years. It worked well in the beginning, but shortly after we got it, the temperature display started fluctuating- not remaining on the temp we set it at. We also noticed there was a lot of ice build-up on the pipes in the back of the refrigerator. This means that after the Haier HVZ040ABH is plugged in and running cold for about a week or so, we need to turn it off and let the ice defrost, which is very inconvenient. This also means that the wine bottles must be taken out and stored elsewhere while the fridge is thawing out- very inconvenient. Overall, I'd say we aren't highly satisfied with our Haier wine fridge, so we basically use it as storage for water bottles and other beverages that can be kept at room temp. I do, however, love the look and size of the fridge, it fits perfectly and coordinates with our other appliances, so it's a shame it doesn't work 100%. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend and repairing it would cost more than what it's now worth.

Review:
"The Haier Liberty wine cooler is OK for what it is."
The trouble free Haier Liberty Dual-Zone wine cooler has been a trouble free member of our household for two years. It is very quite and holds 42 bottles of wine. In the past we always over-cooled our whites and the correct drinking temperature has been a pleasant surprise. This is not a premium grade wine cooler. The racks are metal with little space between racks. This becomes an issue with extra wide bottles, which it seems are become more prevalent and forces you to alternate racks of narrow and wide bottles to avoid the shelf jamming when trying to remove a bottle. The control buttons are located on the front of the doors and it is very easy to inadvertently touch them when opening the door or if you brush it while walking past. When this happens you hear a soft beep then you begin the process of deciphering what control was changed. Overall, we have been happy with this wine cooler. We knew it was not a premium cooler and it has met our expectations. It has given no trouble in the 2 years we have owned it and shows no sign of giving any in the future. If we were in the market for a similarly priced wine cooler we would probably buy another and would recommend it with our caveats.
