"Excellent cabinets"
We just completed our kitchen remodel using Ultracraft cabinets. They are exactly as advertised. One cabinet was not correct so Ultracraft had us a new one in 10days and it was perfect. I do suggest using one of their contractors to get better response. We installed built in coffee maker and microwave drawer as well.

"I worked here"
Place is an absolute nightmare to work at. The quality of "wood product" they use is the same as the chinese vendors - particle board or plywood with a paper veneer. Absolute garbage and not nearly worth the $$$. Within the factory, machines are not repaired properly, we just had to make do with what we had. Very unprofessional and poorly run company. Glad I'm gone from that nonsense. Don't waste your money at Ultra...you can get the same quality for a hell of a lot less at Wally world

"100 year warranty worthless"
Our Ultracraft cabinets are currently being repainted. We discovered layers of primer and paint applied several times. They obviously don't know what they are doing. These cabinets started crazing, chipping, flaking within a year of installation. When we tried to invoke the guarantee, we were told that we had "humidity" problems in our kitchen and they would not be responsible for damage caused by water. I don't know what this is supposed to mean--no dishes steamed, no dishes washed, no water at all in the kitchen?! We should have known from the beginning, because as several other reviews have pointed out, several of our cabinets were already damaged when they arrived and had to be replaced before installation. Please take my advice and don't buy anything from this company.

"Agreed - Don't bother"
I was sold these cabinets as Premium cabinets. 'Don't go with Chinese cabinets,' the dealer told me. "These are the cabinets you want. High quality, can't see seams, will last.' Sadly, as others have said, the best looking cabinet I've seen from these guys is in the dealer's showroom. At least half of the cabinets I rec'd had small dings and / or irregularities in the paint. For ex, 4 (of the 22 doors) had some sort of pattern in the paint that could not be fixed... looked like after the doors had been painted in the factory, something touched the paint. They had to be sent back. And one of the replacement doors also had a mark on it that my contractor could not fix. Seriously?? This is a premium experience? Too frustrating. Maybe this is par for the course, but hard to believe.

"Ultracraft is ultra cra..."
Do not buy Ultracraft. I did not do any research and let the kitchen company use Ultracraft. Big mistake :( My kitchen has taken over 4 months and it's still not complete. Cabinets were different colors. Cabinet doors are uneven. Big gap between doors. Paint is peeling. The cut is very bad. Thermofoil popping off the cabinet and doors when we have not even gotten a chance to use the kitchen yet.

"Not worth the investment"
Our kitchen cabinets are barely 6 years old and the enameled surfaces are crazed and chipping. They will not honor their 100 year guarantee if you have what they call "water damage" (in a sink cabinet) or damage due to a lack of humidity control (I guess you can't boil water in the kitchen?). We even had problems with the company replacing cabinets that were damaged when they arrived (poor shipping!). Responses from customer service have been slow and snotty.

"Designer"
I've read some of the poor reviews of Ultracraft and being a designer, every one of these reviews have issues. Let me say that a frameless cabinet is very difficult to install. If a cabinet is not plumb and level, it will rack (or break apart). This is a problem with people hiring inexperienced installers. Water damage on cabinets is no fault of the cabinet. If water is sitting on a cabinet, maybe one should look at the user. Water should stay in the sink, not dribble all over the cabinets. Water and wood do not mix... No matter what line of cabinetry you are using. Thermofoil does not 'pop' off doors... It will come off fillers if the installer does not cut them properly (again, installers). Freight damage - happens with every line we sell... It can't be helped. Cabinet drawers sagging... Again installation -- no leveled properly. It's move visible in uc because it's frameless and less forgiving to a bad install. As for the person claiming they "didn't make" cabinets to her spec - that is not the manufacturer.. That is her designer. They make exactly what is ordered and acknowledged. I've never had a problem. Cabinets coming out of the box dinged and scraped, not possible. They have one person at the end of the assembly area that does a full visual inspection. That would be rejected before it gets boxed. Check with your installer -- who probably mishandled them and is blaming the company... And if there are any problems... You can expect a replacement in about 2 weeks. They are not very slow to respond... These cabinets are pushed through the plant in days. As far as voc quality - the line is carb compliant as much as any of other major lines out there. And to address color match... Sometimes a re-order may have a color match issue... Due to the fact that each piece is hand finished. That did happen once to me, but the company fixed it immediately. It was on a re-order panel. Cabinet color match is right on the money and has never been an issue. Bottom line... It's a very good line - great value and to get a custom kitchen, I would have no reservations in designing with this line.

"UltraCraft Cabinets"
We installed UltraCraft Cabinets a year ago. Destiny Manhattan Wide in Worn Cherry. I love my kitchen. The free cabinet modifications gave us the opportunity to have a custom looking kitchen and I love the soft close doors.

"Shoddy, shoddy, shoddy."
Bought the thermofoil. The foil has popped on some of the doors and I have been using crazy glue to try to stop it. These cabinets are awful!! Don't ever have standing water on a shelf... The wood will swell and bulge out. I will never buy anything UltraCraft makes.

"Not Happy"
We have had these cabinets for 4 years. At first I thought the installer was the problem, however that is not the case. You can literally "peel" the siding off these cabinets. We have the Buttermilk Petenia. My ongoing problem now is my sink pull out. Apparently water sits on the ledge of it and it causes the wood to swell up and bulge out. If I replace this again it will be my 3rd replacement in 4 years. In addition when I was sold these cabinets the seller told me how great they were and how they could be submerged in water.. NOT. I cant wait to get rid of these when I can afford it!

"Fairlawn Arch Amber Maple Species"
I am not unhappy with the cabinets, but the manufacturer. Cabinets were ordered on Feb. 7, 2012 and to date, my kitchen is still not complete. They didn't make doors for 2 cabinets, made the wrong door for my garbage pull-out, sent the wrong color skin for the side cabinet (it was about 4 shades darker than the cabinets. They did not make the pull-out drawers for the pantry or make the dividers for my cookie sheet cabinet. In my opinion, these items should be taken care of first thing seeing they made the error. I am very disatisfied with the way my contractor and I are being treated by this company. They will be getting a very nasty letter when all this is said and done. I will be filing a complaint with the bbb in N.C. as well as Angie's List. I do not want anyone else to go through the aggravation that we are going through. Seven months later, my kitchen is still not done.

"Cabinets are falling apart"
We had our kitchen remodeled 8 1/2 years ago. The ash cabinets were not solid wood but laminated. The edge strips are now starting to separate. So far this has happened in three places. If I had known this was going to happen, I would not have purchased this line.

"Save yourself a long drawn out problem!"
Cabinets came out of box with dings, scrapes, and chips that had been painted over. In every corner the seams were different; caulk, not caulked, paint finish blended better on some, trim work on cabinets laid differently on some. Some doors were sent back immediately. The base board didn't come in the same color as cabinets. The owner of the company we used called the factory representative for ultra craft, he came to inspect when we weren't home and filled the scrapes, holes with a putty and painted them with what he called a blending/touch up kit. I spoke with him and he said he ordered 2 door replacements which were the 2 that had already been replaced once which means the same 2 under counter doors came and went 3 different times. The cabinets are being removed this next week. The only good thing I will say is the" sample" door that made us choose Ultra Craft had a beautiful brushed finish.

"Will use for my next remodel"
I purchased my UltraCraft kitchen cabinets 9 years ago. Breckenridge door style, Eggshell paint. I still love them today. The finish looks just as good as when I got them, and the cabinets have held up extremely well. We added the soft closers for the doors about 3 years ago. Drawers were all soft close to start. I hope to have this kitchen for a few more years, but when we do remodel we'll stay with UltraCraft.

"Great value for the money"
I went to my local dealer in nyc and I had a great experience. The designer, Al, knew his stuff and when we compared cabinet options, I went for the Ultracraft, because of the coat and quality. Broadway Kitchens helped me with the design and they installed them as well. What a relief that I had one company doing the whole thing.

"Destiny - Adriatic in Blu Metallic"
We remodeled our laundry room in Fall 2007 and installed Ultracraft Destiny Adriatic in Blu Metallic. They looked gorgeous especially with the tile and appliances we picked out. However, within 6 months, all the "sheets" of thermofoil had called off the bottoms of the cabinets. The company that installed came and replaced those panels. However, now it is 4 years later and the edges of three of the cabinet doors have curled up and pulled away from the panel underneath. We are told by the installer that they cannot be fixed on-site. However, we have the "100 Year guarantee" and we will be asking them to send these doors back to the manufacturer.

"Finding UltraCraft Cabinets well worth the effort."
We installed UltraCraft Adriatic kitchen cabinets in April 2011 and have been very happy with them. They are the mid-line of the UltaCraft cabinet models featuring self-closing doors and drawers, built-in turntables for corner units and pullout drawers for pots and pans. The walls and doors are constructed of very durable composite wood material. If you compare a panel of UltraCraft material with any panel you find in a warehouse store, you immediately feel how solid the UltraCraft panel feels. Shelving inside the cabinet is very solid. Drawers are mounted on rollers and move very easily. The finish is an extremely durable heat applied surface that cleans easily. We especially love the quiet operation due to the self-closing feature. UltraCraft is not the cheapest line of cabinets available but are well worth the price. We have never had to repair or replace these cabinets and would definitely install these cabinets again. The large warehouse stores do carry UltraCraft cabinets but finding a dealer is well worth the effort.

"Do not buy Ultra Craft cabinets"
I remodeled my kitchen 3 years ago. I put in Ultra Craft cabinets (Venezia). I am now having a problem with the sink base cabinet, the dishwasher panel and one of the base cabinets. They are starting to curl up on the ends. It looks like the paper and if you wanted to you could just tear it off. I am so disappointed in the quality and I also extremely disappointed in the customer service that I have or I should say have not been getting from Compass Marketing. Compass Marketing is the company that you have to go through when there is a problem. I would not recommend these cabinets at all.
