"Bad for Business"
I have a freezer at the top, refrigerator. Repairs was a waste of money and time. After a short time, the refrigerator still leaks water from the bottom drawers, my food is either half frozen or spoiling because the temperature just isn't right and the freezer is frosting over everthing. The freezer is not suppose to frost! This is bad for my daycare business! I can't have kids going home sick because of food poisoning!

"Won't step foot in sears again."
Purchased a Kenmore all-fridge made by Woods in april 2009 retail 1,199.99 Did not open the box till Sept. due to hospitalization.After I lifted the box enough to view the compressor area and drain pan I noticed that the refrigeration lines were installed incorrectly.I notified sears where I had purchased the fridge and they said because it is just past the 90 day period to bad, contact service.Service came and said yes the lines are not installed correctly but refuses to replace the unit because they say it does not effect the operation of the fridge.I have a one year warranty against workmanship.I have a trade ticket and have worked in the refrigeration trade in the past. I have been past back and forth like a ping pong ball from one customer service dept rep to another, promised calls back that never happened and appointments where the tech. didn't call and let me know he could not make it. I took photos and emailed them to the president Mr. Rogers as well as the board of directors and Chairman. This fridge has been in the middle of my kitchen for over 2 months now in its box and has never been plugged in.Sears refuses to simply exchange it. It has never been used, never been totally out of its box and never been plugged in. I purchased about 4,000.00 of sears products that day They have my money and just don't care if you or I ever shop there again. I wish sears luck in making it through the next 5 years.I have also heard that their stock price is being over inflated so the major share holders can take their money and run at the right time and leave the small player out to dry. They are trying to sell inventory out to save themselves with all the sales.

"leaking Coldspot"
I purchased a Kenmore Coldspot and a service agreement. It began leaking water and I had several repair calls. Then, Sears refused to fix the refrigerator because of a discrepancy with the model number on the service agreement. When I pointed out that they had been there several times for the same problem, they said it must have been for my "other" refrigerator. I don't have "another" refrigerator, and the service agreement had been set up by a Sears repairmen at my house! I will never do business with them again. I was told by the Sears repairman and another repairman that it has a defective drainage system. There was no "satisfaction guaranteed" for me.

"mini"
I purchased an extended warranty for the two mini refridgeator I use solely for medication. One went bad,it started shooting gas from the freezer. I have no idea what happened. I called sears, the first saw a hole and said it was covered, and ordered parts. Two weeks later the second install tech said is wasnt. The first tech created a waste of time and money when he ordered and had parts shipped to me for the second tech to hopefully put back in stock. Extended warranties are useless. The second tech wanted the yard gate open for tools, checked out the vehicles, and in 1 minute or less came back in he yard said it wasnt covered with the stated tools.

"less than1-1/2 year for 1100. poor backup"
We are on a fixed income, and purchased a new Kenmore side by side with ice maker in door. within a year and a half it quit cooling so we called a professional repair man, which we had to pay over $100. he refilled the freon, and said that if it happens again it would need replaced. any fridge I ever looked into had a 5 year compresser warranty. We called sears, they said it wasn't covered. no if's and's or but's. Well my faith is one of the oldest stores has just went down the hill on a non-stop run. We thought we were buying a good product from a reputable dealer. NOT SO. We have to figure out how to finish paying for this piece of junk and figure out how to purchase a new one. No Thanks Sears and Kenmore.
