"Horrible Experience, Don't waste your money!"
I haven't even had a chance to move into my new home. My cabinets aren't even fully installed and the problems are everywhere to be seen. Chips, dings, dents, rubbed down corners, no paint, no stain. The cabinets are rough, sticky from glue. The installer used caulk to fix a bad cut he made. He admitted to turning our island over. It's a nightmare and nobody from the company seems to want to communicate with us. We are waiting everyday to hear something. I'm hoping for a full refund to be able to take my money and business elsewhere. Please read this and stay clear. You will be regretting your decision if you buy these cabinets.

"Issues easily fixed"
I put these cabinets in my home and my mother in-law's also. The quality is good and from reading several of the other reviews, most of the problems are installation issues. They all came in without any complications and timely. Any issues that did come up were easy simple and very easily fixed.

"Horrible / Ugly. No QA at this company!"
OMG! These are awful, had them installed/ having them removed. Ordering different kitchen cabinets. I blame the kitchen design shop for even suggesting these. Every door has issues, dings, not fully painted, cut marks, corners rubbed down, rough areas all over the place. We ordered Maple painted white... will take some of the paint off of one of them because I do not believe they are even maple. Front panel of sink base fell off while looking at the fact that it was very loose. Bumpers missing from many of the doors. Asked for solid plywood boxes... Yes the are plywood, but there are wholes drilled all over the back of the box. For sure this is what you think of as solid, right? There are staples holding the sides of the boxes to the front of the box, this had cased the wood to splinter big time. We know cabinets, had a shop at one time. I would not even put these in a garage or basement. Just garbage. I would never recommend this product!

"3 new kitchens"
I don't get the negative reviews. I did my kitchen (maple) three years ago and it came out beautiful. In fact my neighbor wanted the same cabinets so I installed them and they can't be happier. I recently did my friends house with rustic alter and it came out fantastic. These cabinets are top quality.

"Terrible cabinets"
I would never recommend this product. They owe us 10,000$ for installation on the replacement cabinets they had to send because the original cabinets they sent were so damaged and poorly manufactured. Pretty soon our attorney will be knocking on their and it will end up costing them much more than that.

"Good solid cabinets"
I have a house full of cabinets from Mid Continent, kitchen, baths, laundry room and bar areas, in use for over 5 years. Some cabinets are cherry with a natural finish and others are maple with a stain and glaze. The finish is perfect, even with no scratches or fading. There is some variation in the cherry, but that is because they are solid wood doors. Drawers function well and pull out smoothly. Hinges work well. No problems at all.

"Don't Waste Your Money!"
We are doing a complete renovation of our new home and ordered three Mid- Continent cabinets for our bathrooms since supposedly they are good mid- price ranged cabinets. The cabinets were ordered from a local dealer in Southern California and arrived on time. However, we were shocked to see the poor quality of our bathroom cabinets when they arrive. The craftsmanship is worse than those "DIY" Ikea modular storage cabinets. We have ordered antique White finish but the paint color looks like it just has a prime coat and does not look "factory finished".

"Shocked by negative reviews!"
I've had my MidContinent cabinets for just over a year now and I think they are beautiful! We bought these cabinets for our brand new house built in 2012 because the price was right. They are in our kitchen as well as all bathrooms. We ordered the Adams style cabinet, which is a simple style, in two-tones; Antique White with chocolate glaze and Fireside with chocolate glaze. Both finishes look great, no issues with uneven finishes! One drawer was delivered damaged but it was replaced through our dealer without any hassle at all. The reason I am here was to say that I really like the cabinets and think they are well made but the only complaint I have is that the drawers are very shallow. I can't even fit a hairbrush in the vanity drawer or a soup ladle in the kitchen drawer which is a problem. That's the only issue I have. Other than that I love them! Very surprised to see all the negative reviews here as I had none of the issues described.

"Shoddy Cabinets"
In May, 2013, after 12 years of home remodeling, we finally decided it was time for the kitchen to be gutted and to install a brand new kitchen. We ordered the kitchen cabinets from MidContinent in Newton, Kansas through a local dealer, due to the sales personnel's praise of MidContinent, and the promotions that were offered at the time. I was set on Merillat cabinets due to workmanship, reviews, word of mouth. I am so disappointed in the cabinets we did buy from MidContient. We spent $10,000 on cabinets that have flaws on nearly all the doors, some of the wood was not painted, scratches, overall shoddy workmanship. I would never recommend this company to anyone!! In fact, 2 of our friends that were buying cabinets changed their minds and went with Merillat due to our bad experience. We cannot afford to remove and replace the cabinets as that is what I would like to do. I would advise anyone buying cabinets to steer away from MidContinent.

We purchased a Mid Continent Villa Kitchen from Akin's Building Supply. We used their Villa with antique white paint and black glaze and loved the cabinets! We ordered and received them in 3 weeks and were perfect! They were 30% less than Menards!

"Excellent Company to do business with"
I own a cabinet resale shop in Tennessee and have sold over 50 kitchens using Mid Continent cabinets. There has been less than 1% defect rate in the cabinets I have sold. Delivery has been very on time. Mid Continent publishes their delivery schedule to their dealers. If we have need any replacement cabinets or parts, they have been shipped rush and received within 5 to 6 business days. It is up to the designer / seller to order the correct cabinets and check their orders. If that is followed, there will be very satisfied customers. Damaged cabinets in shipping is the responsibility of the trucking company. I have had very little damage in my delivered cabinets. With the promo's offered by Mid Continent, they are an excellent value.

"5 months and STILL NO CABINETS"
I ordered my Mid-Continent on January 12th 2012. It is now June 1st and 3 sets of cabinets later I still have no bathroom cabinets. All have arrived damaged or not what I ordered. The distributor has been great but they are at Mid-Continent's mercy. I have asked for my money back and they are reluctant to do so. I am just giving this to my lawyer. Do not buy these cabinets

"Homeowner"
It's been two years with Mid Continent cabinets. They claim to be better quality than Home Depot's and their price is higher. We thought we were getting what we paid for but the cabinets doors do not line up with each other. Evry time we open a drawer the sides get carved off each time. I thought it was The weight of items at first but our potholder drawer gets carved too. They weigh maybe 9 ounces? My silverware carves into the wood evrytime you shut the drawer. You see, the drawer shuts itself and theres a little jolt at the end and I guess that makes the silverware jump enough to carve out the wooden tray. It makes me think the wood they use is balsa wood or somthng. I paid top dollar for balsa wood! I would not recommend these cabinets to anyone! Theyre cheaply made. Cheap material and cheaply constructed.

"Consumer"
Mid Continent in one word "TERRIBLE".....three deliveries before we received undamaged kitchen cabinets and after the third delivery still needed to get a furniture finisher to correct the cracks and bare spots on our cabinets. What should have been an exciting and joyful experience became a frustrating, aggravating and frankly a disgusting one.

"High Price, Poor quality- Highly dissatisfied"
We have recently moved into a new condo and installed Mid Continent cabinets in a Maple wood finish. As soon as they arrived (three weeks later than they were supposed to), we noticed that the finish was not the same on all of the cabinets. There was even streaking from stain on the inside back of one of the cabinets. After many phone calls to replace the defective cabinets, they finally sent us new ones. But by then we had gone without our cabinets for two and a half months! I would never buy their products again- it's way too much of a hassle.

"Homeowner/ General Contractor"
At first glance these are decent looking cabinets. However plan on replacing 1/2 the cabinet doors because they will come warped. Additional reinforcement had to be added to the upper corner cabinet face because there was no positive backing to attach the cabinets on either side. Plan on replacing every screw in the hinges and drawer faces. Also after 9 month the wood had shrunk and gaps started appearing at factory joints. More then half the soft closers had to be replaced due to failures. I would not recommend to anyone.

"Great Bayfield Cabinets from Mid Continent Cabinetry"
After owning our house for a year, we still love our Bayfield cabinets which we had done in a Maple wood and Suede finish. The color is very warm and inviting and company always compliments them. The cabinets are simple, but that's the tradeoff you get for picking a more basic model. The cabinets needed touch-ups after installation, but the repairs went very well and look great. I would recommend the brand to others who need a nice product that is also (relatively) inexpensive.

"Do not buy Mid Continent"
Purchased Mid Continent for my major house remodel. I now have a beautiful new remodel with crappy cabinets. They have obvious inconsistency in finish with 100% of my family and friends agreeing on this and the overall quality is sub par. Do not buy from this company if you expect to be proud of your cabinets. I am now set 6 weeks back on my project and have a cluster.

"Better Quality Control Needed"
After reading reviews of Mid Continent cabinetry, I was looking forward to receiving my kitchen cabinetry and felt confident that everything would be perfect. I was slightly disappointed to find the drawers in three of the cabinets are uneven. For example in the 18 inches four drawer base cabinet - the bottom two drawers knock together when opened. Thank God I have a kitchen installer that is willing to unscrew the drawer fronts and drill different holes for the drawer fronts. But where was the quality control when these cabinets were finished being built - don't they look to see if the drawers are evenly hung and evenly spaced? There also seems to be a problem with the lazy Susan - the unit might be warped? Kitchen was installed today, and the foreman for the job will be here tomorrow to troubleshoot. Other than that, the finish is beautiful! We bought the Villa Cherry Harvest with Chocolate Glaze. Everything was delivered undamaged and I have to admit that even with the drawer problem, I absolutely love them!!!
