KitchenAid Stoves, Ovens and Ranges

KitchenAid makes a wide range of appliances and cooking supplies for residential kitchens. Their built-in ovens include convection models and range in size from 3.8 cubic feet to 5.1 cubic feet. Kitchen Aid cooktops come with either gas or electric fuel sources, in widths ranging from 15 to 48 inches. They also manufacture gas, electric and dual fuel freestanding ranges. Several of their dual fuel ranges come with a technology they call "steam-assist," which eliminates the need for basting when cooking certain dishes.

KitchenAid's History

The history of the KitchenAid company began in 1908 with Herbert Johnston's invention of a mechanical dough mixer. The mixer gained popularity with professional bakers and cooks, and in 1919, began being marketed for residential use. In 1949, KitchenAid introduced its first dishwasher. Over the years, the company expanded and developed its products to include a full range of electronic kitchen appliances and major appliances including ranges, ovens, stoves, and refrigerators.
