"Not Happy"
Should have went with Kraftmaid Cabinets. The paint on the Diamond ones chips off easily and one of the cabinets was sent without the pre-drilled holes for the shelf. The plywood construction is good in general, but the customer service sucks. Definitely won't use them again.

"Terrible quality"
These cabinets are terrible. When they first arrived more than half of the doors were damaged or poorly constructed. Had to reorder which delayed the project months. Even the replacements had defects. The kitchen cabinets were installed just over a year ago and the black paint is flaking off all the base molding and one of the doors. Save yourself the time, money and heartache and order ANY other cabinet on the market. I'm sure it will be better. $20,000 down the drain for me.

"Unhappy"
We ordered upper and lower cabinets with island on Nov 17th. Our sales rep at Ballantine NC lowes "Jay" was great with layout! We were told Aprox. 16 weeks. We were ok with knowing all circumstances that may make a change to delivery. 18 weeks later we received our cabinets. One damaged which we were told that there may be damage, but the island cabinets were not delivered. Called our sales rep and we're told that they were coming from another plant. Why, because they were a different color. 7 months later we received our island All good except the back panel for the cabinets was not there. At this point We are extremely pissed. Called our rep who called. Couple days later received an email saying our back panel is back ordered and we don't know when it will be available. Extremely pissed at this point. A few weeks later I received a message stating they will be delivering your panel next week which puts us at 8 months from order date. A few days ago received a message stating our back panel will be delivered. June first the back panel arrived and guess what! It was the wrong panel. Called our rep who contacted And that's where we are 8 months later. So, you make the decision if your looking to have a new kitchen and who are you ordering from? Wish you well!

Order was received without corner cabinet. The cabinet was reordered and is now lost again. Meanwhile I've been without a kitchen for 2 months. No one has contacted me with a resolution. Worst customer service ever. They have my money but I don't have a kitchen. I wish I had never started with this company. Save yourself the agony. Choose else where

"Damage to cabinets"
We purchased Arcadia diamond cabinets from Lowe's yesterday, and every single one of them has damage, whether is is bad paint job or damage to the cabinets. We have been very happy in the past with diamond cabinets but it seems that they no longer have quality control and subpar material. I will never again buy these cabinets and I will make sure I let all my friends and family know not to buy these either.

"Diamond Cabinets are Average"
From months of research, pricing cabinets, and watching for sales, we decided to go with Masterbrand's Diamond Prelude and Reflections cabinet lines and purchased them at Lowe's. Being that they were semi-custom, we were able to get many of the bells & whistles by using both lines of cabinets, i.e, several glass front upper cabinets, rollout shelves, easy glide drawers, and plywood cabinet boxes. The installers were meticulous with positioning these in the remodeled kitchen. What I noticed months out was that the white paint layer (which we paid extra for) is extremely thin on the outer surfaces, so much that there are hints of the wood color visible. Cabinets were installed Dec '17 and are functioning well, clean up well. All considered, we figure we got what we paid for and hope that they will last. Would we buy them again? Possibly, but we would need to cabinet shop again to compare pricing; the suggested retail is exorbitant. Side note -- without going with imported cheap garbage that's flooding the market these days, cabinets are just too expensive.

"Utter garbage"
I spent $27,000.00 on my entire house full of cabinets and got these cheap falling apart pieces of junk! I strongly recommend that you get cabinets elsewhere! Glue joints have let go, cabinet doors are literally falling apart, the backs are 3/8" particle board that won't even hold a cabinet full of dishes to the wall.

"Junk"
Not long after installation our Diamond cabinets we purchased from Lowe's started chipping and even pealing in places. We even purchased many upgrades such as solid wood throughout. The finish is awful. And to make matters worse I purchased the dark chocolate finish which makes it all the more obvious. These were not cheap cabinets. So disappointed. I will never buy this brand again.

"Wrong size, unfinished"
I ordered 18 Diamonod Prelude kitchen cabinets 8/2019, for $4287. These cabinets were very pretty, but we received one base cabinet in the wrong size, so we had to re-order, 10/2019. I also decided to buy 2 cabinet doors separately. I finally received the cabinet and 2 doors 1/13/20, and I was so disappointed. The base cabinet is a totally different shade. It looks unfinished. And, the doors--for $300.00, are shoddy looking. They have no uniformity in color. The Lowes salesman passed it off as personality and character, but the promo photos never showed anything like this. 99% of the cabinets are very nice and uniform in shade, and 1% is really cheap looking, with a totally different mix of shades. I would not go through Lowes again because their employee turnover is very high, and Lowes is too big to care about the customer once you have paid.

Two cabinets were busted when we took them out of the box. It took a few days to get the kitchen sink cabinet replaced because they were not making those anymore and only could locate one at another Lowe’s store. We were pushed for time as we had already scheduled the counter top template so we didn’t even try to correct the other mess. The worst part is the cabinets are made of particle board. There is also an island and the corner of one cabinet is broke off. The trim will cover that. The cabinets are expensive and very poor quality.

Review:
"Awful Quality and Experience - Ruined our Kitchen Renno."
This review is about Dimaond at Lowes brand, made by Masterbrand. I wish that I had read reviews online before I went through with this purchase. I bought the reflection series Diamond cabinets from Lowes. A modest amount of cabinets was still quite expensive, especially w/ the plywood upgrades. This was my 2nd Lowes cabinet purchase, my first one was another brand, and it was a totally different (better) experience years ago with that one. Where to begin? Like other reviewers found online, the quality control coming out of the manufacturing facility is god-awful. Every door has issues with the paint finish - be it scuffs that don't clean off, unpainted insides, unfinished and unpainted edges, dings, dents, bruises, spots, etc. Multiple cabinets were not square. Multiple drawers were not square. The custom options/adders are nearly always WAY worse than the standard product, it's like a first-time woodworker took a hacksaw to the wall cabinets that had custom parts on it (for example the "end door" feature). It was truly embarrassing to see it. My first delivery of the removable shelves were completely unfinished. The laminate/veneer was not matching up, it's like somebody used a 10 year old rusty table saw to make the cuts. The company replaced incorrect things every time, but that means waiting another 4-6 weeks, which delays your project massively and means most of the time that the contractor is going to charge you for it (like mine). My installer gutted and renovated my entire kitchen, he's a professional wood worker and custom home builder - best of the best. The issues I had were not with installation, it was with the cabinetry and finish. The replacements are, 90% of the time, worse than the originals. Some items were replaced THREE Times, and after that much wasteful shipping/manufacturing, I paid my contractor to make the cabinet proper. He took several cabinets to the planer and table saw in order to make them square, and refinished the edges himself. How embarrassing for Diamond, and how expensive for the customer (me). Now I have enough bad cabinets in the basement to throw out, which will cost me even more, because they won't take back the old ones they have replaced either. Talk about environmental impact. The shipping, cardboard, Styrofoam, manufacturing, waste of people's time, and god the cost to EVERYONE involved. In the end I told Diamond I was tired of replacing their poor product with a worse one, and I wasn't going to delay my kitchen project any more (already doubled the time because of them). I asked for a reasonable amount of money back, they gave me ~10% which is a slap in the face and Lowe's also couldn't get any reasonable amount back from them. They refused to pay my contractors additional charges and advised that they also will not send any more replacements now that I'm taking the ~10% back option.

"Destroyed our kitchen makeover experience"
Almost every door and cabinet had an imperfections which spanned from: 1) poor paint job (some areas you could see the grain of the wood where other areas were completely opaque making an incredibly unbalanced and inconsistent look 2) multiple scratches in different areas 3) many bumpy panels which should have had a smooth, sleek finish.

"Unbelievably bad! Run, Don't Walk away! Am negotiating w/Diamond"
We have a huge kitchen. Our island is 17 ft long & 59" wide. Cabinets were supposed to be 'inspected' by subcontractor the big box company hired to install them. They apparently were inspected only for shipping damage & Not quality. Many, many issues. The Masterbrand/Diamond rep came to the house with the big box kitchen designer(designer is a pro & highly skilled). The rep agreed to replace many doors and a couple of 'panels'. Over the next few weeks the replacements began to arrive. The replacements were Worse than the doors/panels there were to replace! Today the 2nd replacement arrived. Same problem. Center panel has no stain or little stain/glaze where it attaches to the door frame. the raised panel in the center of the frame has no stain or glaze on each of the four 45 degree 'edges' where the routering changes directions by 90 degrees. It appears this door has been shipped in the past or else it just traveled poorly this time. Same as many of the 1st replacements. The 2nd replacement also has Blotchy Glaze in the center panel, just as the initial cabinets had, just as some of the 1st replacement had too. Am negotiating with Masterbrand & will update after the final 2nd replacements arrive and there is resolution.

"Cabinets started cracking with a year"
Our cabinet doors began to crack with about 2 years of installation. When we called Creative Kitchens (the company that did our kitchen,) we were told that that was normal do to expansion and contraction do to climate. That claim is ridiculous and that company was soon out of business and we didn't think we had any recourse. A number of years had passed when we were in Lowe's and saw that the sold Diamond. a salesperson gave us a contact email. My husband emailed them and we sent pictures. They sent a man to our house. He said he had never seen anything like this in 30 years. Where inlayed piece of wood was pinned at the top and bottom were all cracking. He said that all the doors should be replaced and he would recommend that. however, he does not make the final call. A couple of weeks later we got an email stating that the company believed that we pinned the cabinets and that they would not adhere to their 25 year warranty. What? How or why would we repin cabinets. The pins (staples) that they used are covered in the white factory baked on paint. their claim is ludicrous! This company sucks!

"Poor quality; bad customer service"
Our $17,000 dream kitchen which should have taken approximately 30 to 60 days to complete took 5 1/2 months to complete and turned into a nightmare. We waited on replacement cabinets for 5 weeks that had to be reordered because they were ordered incorrectly and was supposedly expedited but weren't; 35 cabinet doors/drawers in our total kitchen... of those 35, 17 had to be replaced or repaired; many doors/drawers had blisters under paint due to saw dust; many of bottom edges of top cabinets were rough/splintered as if cut by a dull saw blade; One replacement door had a factory reject tag on it because of orange peel in the paint but they shipped it to us anyway and obviously had to be reordered; Refrigerator tall end panel, which had been reordered 4 times, was finally installed 5 1/2 months after start of project but still had hole in it; We agreed for it to be installed since the hole was covered by adjoining cabinet and we refused to wait another 3 weeks on a replacement that would most likely come flawed like the rest; Throughout our entire ordeal we had very poor customer service from Diamond Cabinets, however, we had excellent customer service from Lowes; Project completed on June 14, 2019.....5 1/2 months later!

"Do not buy!"
If given a 0 rating was an option I would have given Diamond Cabinets a 0. In September 2017 I ordered my cabinets from Lowes. They were delivered in October. When the contractor was ready to install them and removed them from the boxes 14 of the 42 pieces we damaged. Some of the drawers even had holes drilled for pulls! After 6 weeks, rescheduling my contractor the replacements were delivered. During the installation 3 doors needed replaced because Diamond sent the wrong size. My kitchen was not completed until February 8 - it was supposed to be done by December 1. We left on February 10 to spend the winter in Arizona and didn’t return until May 1, so kitchen was not used for 3 months. At the end of October I pulled open my trash bin door and the door literally fell off! My contractor came out (at Lowes expense) and glued it. Less than a week later, my 3 pantry doors fell apart when I opened them. Again, my contractor came out and glued them. On closer examination we found others were ready to come apart, so I told Lowes that all 20 doors needed replaced. Lowes agreed and set out to get replacements ordered. Diamond never responded to Lowes numerous contacts but, around January 27 without informing Lowes that this was being done, delivered all the doors to my house and left them in a snow drift in my driveway. Since we were in Arizona until May, Diamond was told that The doors were to be delivered to the Lowes store. Fortunately, the man watching our house came by and called us immediately. I called Lowes and they had someone come out and put them in our house. So we got home and cannot get in our office because of the cabinet doors. My contractor will be out in about 10 days to install them. During all these 20 months Diamond refused to send a representative to look at my cabinets nor provide any compensation. Diamond cabinets produces an inferior products at inflated prices. And their customer service is nonexistent.

"Horrible!"
I bought the Diamond kitchen cabinets at Lowe's. I ordered the off- white finish and of course, they delivered white ones. It took another 4 weeks to get the right cabinets and at the time I was assured these were made specifically for me. A couple of years into using the kitchen the glazing started to wear off (awful!) and the white original paint showed. They give you a lifetime warranty, so i called Lowe's to get the doors replaced. The rep from Diamond and Lowe's came, looked into the issue and said, they will take the defective doors and re-glaze them. This was 2 and 1/2 months ago. They came back 3 weeks ago, took the doors off and ...not a follow up phone call, not a note as to when to expect the doors back. I keep calling Lowes, and by now the manager hangs up on me! At this point I am ready to sue them, the whole lot! Save yourself the frustration and stress. Buy your kitchen anywhere but at Lowe's and any other brand, but Diamond!
