"Disappointed with new kitchen"
I was very excited to finally get a new kitchen, but no longer feel that way. Wish we would have read the reviews for this company before ordering their product. Our henna stained maple cabinet doors and drawer fronts look terrible, very spotty and inconsistent color. We were told to submit pictures and measurements and they will see what they can do. Really! Will see how long this process takes and if we are satisfied with the results. Would not recommend buying from Diamond at Lowe's. If we end up with good results I will revise my review. Also are still waiting on two cabinets, have not heard from anyone?

"Paint quality"
I just received my brand new cabinets . The paint on cabinets is a very poor quality that cost $908. I would have never paid the additional money if I knew the paint would be missing on the corners of most of doors. Not the look I wanted. The inside doors had missing paint. If they can't paint cabinets correctly they shouldn't offer. Very disappointing Would not recommend having cabinets painted by this company.

"November to February and still waiting!"
Started a kitchen remodeling project in November with an excellent contractor. It is now February, and we are still waiting on cabinet doors and things to be shipped from the Diamond Cabinet Company. Glass doors have arrived three times cracked. They were moving all around in the box... duh! Cannot complete backsplash because of delayed cabinet. It is inconceivable that these problems have been anyone’s poor workmanship but the company. So, here I sit, 3 1/2 months with this mess. Buy some other cabinets if your smart!

"Problematic"
Bought at Lowe's and one box had correct label and picture as we needed. After 3 attempts it was wrong I called the customer service number to get just one drawer front because it was suppose to be 24 inches yet the factory packed 2 12 inch which didn't work. At first rep was nice and promised to send a drawer face in 7 days. She called back asking for product label and pictures of what we got. All were sent. After 3 weeks called back another rep said on the way and would call me back with confirmation. No call back so I called a third time where rep robin told me I was the only one reporting this issue and it funny to her no one else had the issue. I have no idea what happened but I bought from Lowe's and it was on drawer front only I didn't even need cabinet door. Then she claimed never to have gotten pictures so I sent them again and she continued to call me a liar. Why would I lie when I bought a whole kitchen for a few thousand dollars and I needed one drawer front that was inaccurate in the box. So she refused to send it supervisor got involved saying never a complaint against this rep and I told her listen to calls. Said she would dig more and call me back in the meantime I bought three more sets at Lowe's and only one was correct. I had to return 6 sets by the time it was said and done and drive an hour each way to a different store because they refused to send a drawer face that probably cost them $5 to make when I just spent about 3500 in cabinets. Sad company. We are learning the quality isn't the best with these with broken tabs and the lazy Susan is longer than the base cabinets of the same line (and it isn't an adjustment issue it's the whole cabinet) the drawer units are cheap with little rods instead of a whole piece of wood. I don't recommend

"Diamond Dealer"
I am a kitchen designer who sells over 10 different lines of cabinetry in my small showroom. 90% of what I sell is Diamond. It is the line that I one day intend on putting in my own home. What homeowners need to pay attention to when reading these reviews is are the issues these other consumers had due to Diamond or the dealer that they were working with? The majority of the complaints I see here are mismanaged expectations. This is not Diamonds fault but the person who you purchased the cabinetry from. False expectations can destroy your experience with any cabinet line. If you order white and your cabinets show up brown 9 out of 10 times that was the dealers fault during ordering. No cabinet line is perfect but please remember when reading reviews to be open minded. Also, The reason for mostly negative reviews is because when you have an amazing experience you don't alway go out of your way to post about it online. But if you have a bad experience you want the world to know about it.

"Where is my long awaited beautiful Kitchen"
Our saga began with looking at the beautiful kitchens on line and in magazines. We then started to dream. On July 4th, Lowe's a sells on their cabinets and appliances and we decided to purchase our kitchen from them. In August, the cabinets finally arrived. Some cabinet boxes and doors had chipped paint, rough finishing, wrong style door from what we ordered altogether. We had to reorder. Since then we have reorder 5 times and just recieved our 5th order last week. This last order was actually ordered by the Diamond rep. The contractors was here the last 2 days to finish installing the cabinets. But as usually, the doors came in chipped, dented and some of the doors were not enough square. The fillers lacked the luster the the cabinets had and also were of a different shade of color and also the woodgrain could be seen thru the paint. The contractor is speaking with Lowe's for us to get replacements, This will then be order no 6 and when this order comes in will be 5 1/2 mo from he order date. I am so sad and discouraged that when I saw the results of the last order, I finally just broke down and cried. My kitchen is not done and the holidays are here. Thanksgiving is tomorrow and we are going to have to take our family out to a restaurant for dinner. Will the kitchen be completed before Christmas? Who knows! After reading some of these reviews, I am very concerned that these cabinets will now hold up. I would never order Diamond cabinets again. Lowe's is ordering the replacement doors but there is no contact person to go to. There are layers of people that you go thru and no one seems to take ownership of the job! Do not go to a box store for cabinety. They don't care!

"So far so good"
Lowes quoted these cabinets, after reading the reviews I almost decided against them. The salesman at Lowes assured me they were fine, I trusted him and so far couldn't be happier. They look great, Lowes installer was very professional, and the overall experience has been good.

"Worst Investment in my remodel of my home"
First initial inspection I had to replace multiple door faces of my cabinets. Along with obvious scratches they covered with paint. A few months later I noticed the seems splitting on all of my doors in my kitchen and two bathrooms. I had the representative come to inspect and she told me that “it’s normal”. Meaning, it’s normal for my investment to look like they are splitting and cheap? I just put 6,000 in beautiful granite and 10,000 in appliances in my kitchen and I have splitting cabinets around it? Garbage. I said they must be assembling these cabinets in a terrible environment temp. wise. They basically offered to cover only a few replacement covers while I was under warranty. I’m already thinking, hmmm I wonder how long it will be before I have to replace these! I would be willing to join a group and slam a class action suit toward this company. Who’s with me?

"Not too happy"
We did the cabinet inspection with the contractor, each one we unboxed had flaws. Dents in the doors, paint missing, split seams in the door and drawer faces. We spent 12k to get pretty crappy quality cabinets. We are getting all the doors replaced and a few of the cabinets due to quality issues. At this point I can't recommend diamond to anyone and won't use them for bathroom remodels coming up.

"Stressing"
I just spent 9700.00 on Diamond cabinets. I had 21 boxes delivered. I opened 1 box out of curiosity and have gaps in both corners and a damaged door. I don't want to open another box! Called lowes sales person. I have contractor pre construction meeting and cabinet inspection this week. I don't have a warm and fuzzy feeling about this! Keeping my fingers crossed!

"Poorly made and packaged cabinets"
We bought the Nimble cabinets from Lowes as we were told the quality is as good, if not better than Ikea (and they were also having a 15% off sale). Not worth the savings! We are installing them as I write this review and so far we need to return 8 cabinets and 1 set off drawers out of the 11 boxes! Very poorly made/packaged. Particle board is cracked or has holes, hinges ripped out or lose. Just overall a very cheaply made product. We originally wanted to go with Ikea but because of Lowes cabinet sale we went with the Nimble. Wish we would have did our research on these cabinets before buying. Very disappointing.

"Worst purchase I have ever made"
We always wanted to buy ikea cabinets but because people like real wood and we are going to sell our house soon, we decided to go with traditional wood kitchen cabinets. We were told by Lowes that Diamond is great brand they have. We order cranberry color and waited for 6 weeks. Delivery: - Two cabinets delivered without doors - Two doors got shipped separately without any explanation and apology letter QUALITY - After we opened the packages the paintjob on the doors was visibly bad (defective paint machine or something) all doors show one or more lines as if two pieces were glued together. - The color difference between the glass door frames and the regular doors are huge - The worst of all, the cabinets are not real wood, only the doors is real wood. - The cabinet for built-in microwave came without a base so we had to create custom base CUSTOMER SERVICE: Stay tuned we will see how they react. We bought this from Lowes and we are fighting Lowes first. We will report back

"Avoid Diamond Cabinets"
A kitchen designer recommended these cabinets as good, solid cabinets that I would be very happy with. No - I'm not happy. They are cheap (in terms of quality, not price) garbage. The cabinets boxes don't align and the drawers and doors from one box to another will never line up regardless of adjustments. The cabinets aren't delivered as ordered - one cabinet was manufactured with the door opening the wrong way; a tilt- out drawer didn't. The door on one cabinet had a big chip in it that was just painted over and sent out. Another door was missing paint on part of the door. My contractor looked at them and said they were worse than junk but by then it was too late. This was supposed to be my dream kitchen - now I have nightmares every time I look at it. When I complained to the kitchen designer she came to the house with the Diamond rep and they just blew off my concerns. Wish I had seen these reviews before buying these things.

"Worst workmanship"
I bought $20,000 in cabinets, upgraded the bottom cabinets to wood. After less than a year the corners started to peel. I also purchased "bead board" sides to finish exposed sides of the cabinets. After many phone calls a Diamond representative came to my home. She firstly, admitted that the bead board, which cost $800 a panel and are made out of particle board material, not wood like the cabinets, discolored and look completely different than the cabinets now. She agreed on the discoloration, but the company would not compensate, or replace the bead board. Secondly, she admitted the cabinet doors were peeling, took a cabinet door to send to the manufacturer. She promised it would be returned within 2 weeks as the holidays were coming and I didn't want a door missing from my cabinet. 2 months later, and many phone calls, I finally received my cabinet door, with no repairs -- and was told it "must have been exposed to water" and would not be covered by their warranty. They are kitchen cabinets - there is water. The cabinet door she took is on the opposite side of my sink. Since then, 3 years later, every cabinet door is peeling, the fronts of every drawer is cracking. These cabinets are a waste of money ($20,000) in my book, for a small kitchen is a lot of money. In my previous home, I purchased Kraftmaid cabinets, when I moved 8 years later, they were as beautiful as the day they were installed. Stay clear of Diamond cabinets, they are cheap garbage and their service, and warranty is useless.

"Worst Service ever"
Ordered $20k worth of cabinets - Upgraded to all wood because I read reviews of mdf. Cabinets came in ok. I ordered white and a color called thatch. Factory sent wrong colored cabinet (white for thatch) and a couple of needed fillers (ordered correctly). Was told replacements would arrive 10-12 business days). Told at 11th business day (Dec 10) won't deliver until January 11th. "We're sorry" My kitchen couldn't be finished. To them a cabinet - to me - the ability to move in. I was just able to complete kitchen 18 January Ordered from Lowes - they were not any help either. Told I needed "x" parts - had 12 various pieces left over -- and I can't return because they are special ordered. Be aware - Lowes won't give you install price until AFTER you order. My quote was $4300 more than I was able to get from reputable installer.

"The worst distributors you ever want to deal with"
Absolutely do not buy from Diamond cabinets. They give you absolutely no support. Some of their vendors are incompetent and when they botch orders Diamond stands behind them saying that any problem that you have you should take it up with the dealer. Double door cabinets did not meet they are 3/8 inch opening, doors do not lineup. So if you like having space in your kitchen forget it. Roll outs You can look right inside without opening the doors. Roaches and rats can walk right in without opening the doors. You complain about it all you want, they tell you take it up with your dealer. But your dealer did not make the cabinets. Diamond did. They put the dealer in front so that they do not have to bear any responsibility or suffer any losses. They have absolutely no customer relations. I used to hear people talk about them put I let go from one ear to the other and now I got burnt as well. If after reading this you buy cabinets from Diamond Cabinetry or anything under the Masterbrand name you are a fool. I would never even spit on these cabinets again.

"Run from these Imbiciles"
Like others here I have learned a lesson. I ordered Diamond cabinets 4 years ago in another house and they were 8 weeks late. I got a 50% price reduction from Lowe's. Dumb me, I ordered Diamond again because we love the finish. We're now 8 weeks in, no kitchen. The few cabinets we have are scarred, bubbled finish, cut wrong and cracked from the factory. It was so bad the Diamond rep came to my home and was disgusted. Unfortunately that does not mean results. Look, don't listen to the salespeople at Lowe's. Listen to the people here. Diamond is a rip off, your kitchen will be late, the quality will be poor and your stress will go through the roof. I literally am canceling my order and paying 5k more to not deal with these unethical people anymore. When I asked about these reviews at Lowe's, they said it was a competitor trying to run off business. I'm a normal guy and Diamond is horrible. Run or you'll wish to heaven with all you have that you did. What a horrible experience.
