"Stood the test of time very well"
Twelve years ago we did a complete remodel of our kitchen. Our Kraftmaid kitchen has stood the test of time very well. We are putting our home up for sale and I called and asked for a new door for the trash can pull out and Kraftmaid delivered asap. In a few days we are moving again and will do another kitchen renovation and will once again choose Kraftmaid cabinetry. In my opinion they are the absolute best! Love my Kraftmaid kitchen!

"Very poor craftsmanship."
Cabinets arrived with many defects in craftsmanship. After two months of multiple reorders, we could never get installable cabinets. Very frustrating experience. We ended up cancelling our purchase, which was through Lowe's, and getting a full refund.

"Save your money, don’t buy KraftMaid"
The company must be run by a 2 year old. Cabinets showed up looking like a small child's drawing. Flaws in all areas. 14 months later and we still don't have the issues fixed. Use a local cabinet maker to save money and your sanity.

"Cabinet Quality is not good"
I have had my Kraftmaid cabinets now for 4 years. There are unsatisfactory to say the least. When you pay the money for a kitchen remodel, you expect that it will last for several years to come. The cabinets are becoming discolored and look worn. If you get water on them you better clean it out of the cracks because it will discolor the finish. The Bottoms of the Cabinets and the Top of the Drawers are very discolored. I wish our Rep at Home Depot would have told me about the quality before I purchased. I will say that the company is very good about responding and replacing if something is wrong. I had the cabinets for about 3 months when I spilled water and didn't realize that it dripped down the front of the cabinet into the crack. Several minutes later, streaks from the cabinet finish was completely gone half way up the cabinet. I called our rep at Home Depot and took a picture and told her this should not be happening. She agreed and contacted Kraftmaid. They ordered a new cabinet right away and replaced. I have since been very careful as to not let standing water into the cracks of the cabinets but just everyday use has become a chore to keep them decent looking. I wouldnt buy this brand again.

"Extremely poor craftmanship"
I have ordered Kraftmaid cabinets for at 4 times from HomeDepot in the past 20 years. The craftmanship has declined exponentially. Here are some highlights. 1. Two draw rails fall off. 2. Drawer faces are not flush. 3. Many doors are mounted outside the cabinet frames and hinges are poorly mounted such that one cannot make any adjustment. 4. On one base cabinet, one side plywood panel is 1/8" off. I have to plane it down so that it sits properly. Wasting too much time calling Kitchen team at Jacksonville HomeDepot and Kraftmaid. They don't care.

"Sap Runneth Over"
I purchased a total kitchen from a kitchen design group called Hannapel in Michigan. Kraftmaid is one of three product lines that they use. Ordered November 2021, they arrived late January 2022. I had them hold off on home delivery until April, but in the meantime the cabinets were not inspected. As my neighbor starting installing, I loved the "look" of my new kitchen. However, we quickly realized the box that the pantry sits on was too tall and a bit too wide. It was 5 1/2" too tall and needed to be 4 1/2 to fit the crown molding. He wasn't supposed to have to cut anything. One drawer box was cracked (needed glue), snaps on snap-on door panel were broken, there were a couple of sticky notes on cabinets about pieces being defective and coming at later date, a piece of starter molding was split over a foot, and at least 1 drawer that did not and still does not close properly. The hood for above the stove was not put together evenly ( we are now awaiting the 4th one) There were a few scratches, that I figured the repair kit would take care of. Basically the install was done in April, with sink valence and crown molding waiting on the hood. Since then, we have replaced no less than 10 items, including drawer face, drawer track for broken spring, wrong size pieces, and splitting wood on a door. The rep even came to the house to try to self-adjust the faulty drawer. It worked once while he was here. Never since. We return from a trip in June and I notice some stuff on the front of one of my bookcase panels. I tried wiping it off, wondering what was going on. It was sticky sap! The salesperson claims he's never heard of sap going through the paint, only bubbles. Don't worry, I have those, too. Sap and bubbling on almost every door and drawer in my new kitchen. Even sap dripping down glass door in my bookcase. From what I have read, this happens when wood is not dried and cured properly. Sap gets stuck inside until warmer temps melt it. So it is a processing problem. There is also wood cracking and some pretty shoddy painting attempts to hide wood defects. The doors do not look solid…you can see where the wood panels were put together to make the doors. Because of this, door faces look uneven snd have the appearance of streaking and different variations of blue. One such seam is cracking on one of my pantry panels. I spent over 28,000 for cabinets and another 3,000 to have these installed, among other expenses to have someone fix their mistakes. Unfortunately, but fortunately, my quartz countertops were also defective and were getting ready to be replaced this week. I have put that on hold until the Kraftmaid rep is back from vacation and can deal with this mess. My parents have Kraftmaid and we also have it in our lower level kitchen-from many years ago. Those items are wearing well. I always thought Kraftmaid was a quality company (granted they are sending replacement pieces, which are sub par, too) and had no reservations about ordering from them. I do know Kraftmaid parent company was sold to Platinum Equity in 2021. Standards different? I also know that there is no way proper inspections are being made. Even my designer wrote Kraftmaid after seeing a replacement item with and said, "Really???" With some pictures. Some reviewers sound like they are settling. I will not.

"No Pride In Work"
My husband and I purchased Kraftmade cabinets from Home Depot (Home Depot was not the problem). We had our cabinets delivered and the majority of them were damaged, or wrong. For the kind of money spent, I expected a better product.

"Poor poor quality"
We have waited for so long to remodel our kitchen, finally we were able to get the ball rolling. I fell in love with the knotty alder cabinets. We ordered over $17000 of cabinets, the door sample was gorgeous! They finally arrived after 4 months. The contractor unboxed them, damaged. They are pressed wood, poor pressed wood. We didn't have a choice but to install. They are beautiful but I will never buy another kraftmaid product. Our mixer does not fit in the mixer cabinet, that needs to be redesigned kraftmaid! I warn everyone I talk to, just don't! Very dissatisfied customer. Way too much money for a inferior product

"Do Not Wadte Your Money!"
I paid way too much for these cabinets for them to have arrived in the condition they are in. Peeling paint, cracked/splitting wood, thin paint, missing screws, brackets completely pulled out of back.... the list goes on and on. As everyone else has said, horrible cabinets, horrible construction... horrible company.

"Junk"
Ordered in Oct 2021 and when they arrived over 50% were damaged. Now July 2022 and we are still waiting for replacements. Terrible coutomer service zero communication. Between Lowes and Kraft Maid can only rate #1 only because they do not list any lower. We do not recommend either.

"Highly disappointed"
I ordered Evercore Bonsai KraftMaid cabinets and have never been so disappointed in my life! Every cabinet had some sort of defect from minor to major. I waited over 4 months for the original delivery. Now I am going on 2 months of receiving replacement pieces and they are damaged when they are delivered. I wish I could send it all back to KraftMaid and wash my hands of them!

"Not worth the money"
We were told that Kraftmaid was high quality and we found out it is anything but. We spent a lot of money on these cabinets and the first shipment had about a third of them useless. The finish was cracked and peeling and we paid EXTRA for the high durability finish. Of the cabinets that were not in terrible shape, many had thin paint or scuffs and nicks in them. It took months to get replacement cabinets shipped and about 50% of those had similar paint issues and some we had to reject once outright. One piece was not even glued together, you could literally pull the two sides apart without trying hard. Once we started putting hardware on, we found the paint was chipping off the backside of the drill hole in large pieces. The composite wood edge (not real wood mind you) was also in poor shape. We are seriously wondering just how long these cabinets will last. Durability is not the name of the game here. If we hadn't waited months to get all of these cabinets to begin with while living in a torn apart kitchen, I would reject all this order and start over with another manufacturer.

"Poor craftmanship"
I would not recommend Kraftmaid cabinets. We waited about 4 months to get our cabinets. When we did, we had several damaged pieces - 1 door has been delivered to us twice - both damaged. Cracks in parts of the lower cabinets too. I am so disappointed we spent over $10,000.00 on these cabinets. We have a small kitchen. I expected better quality. Don't buy Kraftmaid.

"Kraftmade and Terrible quality"
Absolute nightmare working with this product. There quality is terrible and the packaging for shipping even worse. I am not exaggerating when I say every piece that you as delivered was damaged. Paint grade trim all scratched in the box. Warped cabinet doors. Paint buffed from rubbing on the cheap cardboard packaging. Several cabinets damaged and had to be replaced. Replacements arrive with worse problems than the first. This is way too expensive of product to have these issues.

"Had to Send Them ALL Back"
Ordered white, shaker-style Kraftsmaid cabinets with glass fronts on the uppers for our new home build. The craftsmanship was awful, everything from not having the reveals be square to chipped edges. We had to send them all back which is putting us (and our builder way behind schedule.)

"Kraftmaid was good to me!"
Just want to say THANK YOU for a wonderful job on my cannon gray deveron full panel kitchen cabinets. I'm attaching pics of what we've completed so far. I was toooooo excited to wait and leave this review. I had a wonderful experience with ordering from Lowes in Chester NY. Kellie helped and deserves a six figure salary for her kindness and expertise! The delivery arrived when promised and the drivers were very careful unloading. They have an excellent way of accounting for what's being delivered. I had NO DAMAGE of any kind to my order. They were perfect. I picked well in choosing Kraftmaid and you know what...I picked well in going with Lowes. I see many trash the "big box store" but my store was good to me and had competent workers assisting. The installer Scott was a perfectionist! I appreciated that... I thank Kraftmaid and Lowes for a great kitchen reno experience.

"Better have a really notch carpenter"
If you purchase Kraftmaid my suggestion is your carpenter have above average skills. 1. Base of cabinets need reinforcement, nails placed in base are holding together 'air', base parts have different height. 2. Screws that hold the face of the drawers are loose & some even stripped the face. 3. One floor cabinet was so poorly assembled it required a piece of wood placed diagonal on the top to add some rigidity. 4. The trash cabinet, the drawer did not close because the tracks were not aligned correctly. 5. Numerous spots did not have finish.
